“Almost near the airport”
The Holiday Inn Express Hotels continue to be a bargin for the business traveler, nice new hotels with up to date rooms, bedding and furnishings. This hotel trought no fault of it's own has been cut off from the Calgary Airport due to a construction project which will last for the next couple of years. also when you stay here there you must be perpaired to drive to all resturants etc. Not their fault it's just that you are out there with nothing close at hand.
“You may not benefit from paying thru Expedia”
The hotel in this case was new, clean and conveniently located. I booked my stay in advance and paid thru Expedia. I arrived at the hotel very late in the evening after travel and visiting clients. I had left my wallet along with my credit card accidently with one of my clients in my tool case. The staff at this Holiday Inn Express Calgary REFUSED to provide me a room even though the room had been paid in advance! I was not impressed at all!!! I felt the decision of the management was a VERY poor one. After calling home to get my wife to supply me a differant visa number, the staff was not cooporative in accepting this by phone (nearly 11 pm mountain time by now). Bottom line; room was paid in advance. There was NO REASON to refuse the room to me! I frequent the HI EXPRESS chain, as does my entire department. I will think very hard about this incident before I continue to use this chain again.
“close to airport”
I had to take flight early next day. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from airport. I could sleep much more than staying in downtown area. The hotel is clean & Clark are very friendly & nice.

I always love to see modern interior decors. This room had it all beautifully decorated and nice & quiet even though we were close to the elevators and above the entrance and the parking lot. Just wish there were more restr choices avbl. There was only 1 place to eat.

Excellent hotel. Nice staff. My kids loved the pool, there is a big slide. Perfect place to finalize our vaction after going to Vancouver and Banff. Close to airport.

Shuttle from Airport was friendly and efficient. Room was MOST confortable Breakfast was great - overall, a first rate experience
“Calgary AB HI Express-”
Took three rooms for self, son, daughter and 4 grandkids. Kids were exhausted from 6 days skiing at Banff. Ready for bed until they saw the pool and slide. They were ecstatic and so too the parents.
“Very nice hotel!!”
This was a welcome surprise as we got in very late and were very tired. The hotel arranged for a cab to pick us up because it was so late. The rooms (attached) were very modern, large and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Adequate breakfast...better than most comparable. Took the hotel shuttle back to the airport in AM to pick up rental car. All went smoothly. Because of our stay at this hotel, we decided to stay at a Holiday Express in Seattle, as well.
