The hotel was beautiful and well kept up. It is in a very convenient location and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable. Chocolates on the pillow are always a big hit!!! Staff was very polite, helpful and courteous.

Classy inn, great location

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: small balcony for warmer months (though our room had a terrible view). Huge, deep tub, fireplace. Staff left coffee & croissants outside door each day
Cons: Rooms need fridge! Had to chill wine and our restaurant leftovers out on the balcony. No clock in the room.
Location: Right on the main road, parking underground. Walking distance to a wide array of restaurants and pubs, in the funky district of Kensington.
Room was very cute, with modern style. Food in restaurant delicious, though pricey. Staff all very friendly. Quiet inn with warm, cozy feel.

One of THE best!!!!

Pleasantly surprised with the location and the quality of the hotel. It was just perfect - hard to pick a fault. Loved the location - it was close to everything including walking distance to downtown Calgary which is just across the Bow River. The hotel was modern and chic. We really enjoyed the quality of the room, loved the comfortness of the bed and the fresh linens with tons of floppy cosy pillows. Wish we could have stayed longer - would highly recommend over the major hotel chains.

Calgary's Best Boutique Hotel

Posted Aug 15, 2014
My husband and I spent 7 wonderful nights at the Kensington RiverSide Inn. The hotel was in a perfect neighbor hood including bistros, pubs, wine shops and bookstores. Located right across the street from the beautiful Bow river. The Bow has a beautiful river walk through rows of trees and flowers. Enjoyed the Calgary area so much.

Comfortable and cozy getaway close to downtown

Posted Jul 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's small and quaint, with very clean and comfortable rooms, but it is the service that puts it over the top. We were planning on dining at the Chef's Table (onsite restaurant), but it and room service were closed due to a private event. We were so disappointed, and my wife has difficulty walking, but Jesse Ziercke (hotel manager) arranged for us to go out the back door, across the alley and in the back door of the Brasserie Kensington, where we had a wonderful dinner. Will definitely stay here again.
