Awesome location, super modern room, felt like a high end condo in a big city! Loved the Aveda amenities, it was an added bonus.

The Place Is A Hole In The Wall And You Can Miss It If Your Not Paying Attention. The Rooms Are Very Modern Inside And Are Sounds Are Minimal. Defiantly Stay Again. Pros -Grocery Store Across The Street. -Liquor Store Is Down The Street. -Walking Distance To Heart Of Downtown. Cons - Parking Is Very Limited And In Open.

“Best Place to Stay”

The location is great, it is across the street from one of the largest grocery stores in downtown. It is 10 minutes(walking) to downtown mall, and train. Bus stop is 50 feet away, and there are many cafes and places to dine close by. The hotel looks like a well taken care of apartment building, which is great in that the suite is built like a small apartment and not like a hotel. + very modern appliances, tv, and phone. includes dishes and a dishwasher...very impressive.

“Feels like a flat not a hotel”

I love this hotel. This was my second stay here and it was just as good as the first. I love coming back to my room and feeling like I am in flat not a generic hotel room with no personality. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and i wanted to get away for a night but no go to far as we are from Edmonton....A few of our friends recommended this hotel to us and i checked it out and it seemed cozy and was like a little apartment as i guess it once was one years ago. I booked through Expedia and they had one room left so we took it. It was a Saturday afternoon we got to the hotel, parking was no problem at all if you do not mind walking a block or two and was always a open spot. The hotel staff where very friendly and professional. I had thought to myself if this was the last room avail that night that we might be put in the least requested room but it was perfect and well maintained, on the lower level so it was not super warm but we did leave the fan on all night as the room did not look to have A/C which i think it should have had for a hotel. The building was sold out but we did not hear a thing day or night from patrons or street outside. Great location if you want to be close to downtown and Hudsons Pub 3 block walk from hotel.My Husband said that the bed was the best sleep he has ever had so if any of the staff read this please let me know where it was from!

“The best room I've had !”

The room itself was huge, it was essentially a mini-apartment with a stove, dishwasher, washing machine, couch, etc. The TV was huge, bed was comfy, everything was modern and new. It is a small hotel and consequently there may not be someone in the office but I had no need since everything was right. I am not sure that all rooms were like mine, though, but it was how a hotel room should be. The only knock against it was that it was just out of the downtown core so you have to walk several blocks to the tower, musuems etc. It is equal distance from the downtown transit mall and the 17th shopping / nightclub area. There were a couple of restaurants nearby but just I bought food from the grocery store across the street and prepared it in my kitchen.

Everything was in pristine condition. Perfect location. 5 stars.

“Excellent value”

This hotel is new so they were still working out the kinks but the staff were very helpful and receptive to comments/questions. It's a bit odd on arrival with no proper lobby and a locked doorway to what looks like an apartment building. Once you get over that, the room was clean, full kitchenette (missing only a kettle) with washer/dryer (they even include the laundry detergent!) + free internet/phone. Excellent for business travellers or anyone staying for a few days and wanting the advantage of a suite.
