Cheers Restaurant - Located adjacent to the front lobby, this open restaurant features an à la carte menu, and breakfast and lunch buffet, and dinner. An express breakfast menu is available, and meals can be pre-ordered to ensure timely morning departure. Children 6 and under eat complimentary meals with an accompanying adult.
Red Fox Pub - Lively pub atmosphere with a daily lunch buffet, a selection of appetizers and finger foods, plus a more extensive evening menu. Large-screen TV for sporting events, and a billiard table. Video lottery terminal gambling available.
Recreation
In summer, guests can relax on the deck of the spacious outdoor pool. Exercise machines are available for aerobic or weight workouts. An on-site laundry facility is available to guests.
Walkers, cyclists, and runners can travel eight blocks north to the banks of the Bow River to access Calgary's vast network of paved riverside trails. Several parks along the Bow River offer excellent spots for fly-fishing (provincial license required), depending on the time of year.

“Very Nice Stay”
Was over all satisfied however, the beds were not made for our last nite's stay.

My Wife and I were very happy with our stay in this Hotel as the room was very comfortable, the location was good and the staff were very helpful and courteous.

I wouldn't go to Calgary again. The zoo is great, but that's about it. And the city virtually closes on Good Friday.
“It does the job, nothing special, it is a Ramada....”
The hotel was OK, felt a bit dated, the window in the room did not close properly and some lights did not work. I got the feeling that it was all a bit 'take it or leave it'. It was satisfactory, but nothing notable for or against. for a one night stay it was fine. at elast there was free internet, always a plus.
“dumpy digs”
I just felt depressed when checking into the hotel. The lobby seemed sad and depressing. The room was completely normal and clean.
“Great Location but beware of the downtown location”
The Ramada has excellent customer service and the rooms were spacious but the problem with the single bed room was that there was too much space, meaning not enough furniture. If you want "roomy," then the single-bed suite is the way to go. But the corner of 7th Avenue SW & 8 Street SW, from what I heard and definitely did not want to experience personally, was the place to wander too far since it is where all of the drug dealers and the vagrants hang around. So, beware of that place of the hotel's "backyard." All in all I would definitely come back again but only if Calgary's soaring gang crime rate would come down.
