Clean comfortable hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2015
On the edge of the city centre a very short walk to the free transit zone where you can pick up the ctrain. The hotel itself was fine, very comfortable beds in the rooms and the staff were friendly. Calgary does though seem to have an awful lot of itinerants in the City which doesn't create the best impression.

had a great pool was unhappy upon check in

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: the pool
Location: was downtown we did lots of walking and shopping
unhappy upon check in reserved double room was offered twin beds. we did manage to get double beds but really put a negative start on experience. because of that we didn't utilize any of the facilities other than the pool.Staff was pleasant. The bathroom was in poor repair and needed some upgrades.

Posted Jun 5, 2015

Altes Hotel Zimmer total abgelebt !

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Modxi- Bar sehr angenehm
Cons: Zimmer renovieren

Great Location Downtown

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Beautiful lobby. Was happy to have a restaurant (Moxies) right in the hotel so we didn't have to leave to get dinner
Cons: I didn't really like the pillows which is why I didn't get the best sleep, but I think that's just personal preference more than anything.
Location: Easy access to Chinook Mall, The Zoo, Cowboys Casino & Bar
Excellent location downtown, perfect for shopping and close to the Zoo (the reason we drove down for the weekend) Didn't get the best sleep in the bed however, but overall great experience

This hotel is in need of some renovations. Very old (dare I say dingey). From the old wooden door, to the old carpet, to the cracked tiles in the swimming area. Staff were courteous and friendly. On site dining is good (Moxies).

Nice, economy hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Fit my budget
Cons: Air conditioners are ready for replacement
Decent hotel on the edge of the safe side of Calgary. Literally adjacent to the hotel is a very sketchy portion of town
