Not great

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Location was very good
Cons: Upgrading and cleaning.
Location: Everything we needed was close by and accessible.
The hotel was in the area we needed to be in but it was not a great experience. There needs to be a total upgrade to the rooms, bathrooms especially. All the carpets were in poor condition. The laundry room was in terrible shape, good cleaning would help.

Old, rundown hotel with no curb appeal

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Hotel lobby has a slight upscale decor but after that its all downhill. The carpeting (regardless which floor) was dirty and never seen a vaccuum. The walls are in dire need of repairs and paint. The rooms were dirty and low grade. Daily housekeeping was a joke ( Eco friendly on the reuse of towels over 2 days acceptable ) but never changing or replacement. If you want more coffee, etc you have to go to the housekeeping cart and get it yourself. I know I will never book with this hotel again.

Pretty run down

Posted Jul 14, 2014
For the price of the hotel it was awful. Yes it is during the Calgary Stampede that we stayed but to the tune of $250.00 for the night I would not have expected to stay in such a run down old hotel. Oh, and the fact that one of the double mattresses was missing from the room was just odd. I will not stay at this hotel again.

There was no other choice of hotel to stay in Calgary because of the stampede but it was a terrible decision to stay at Travelodge.

Don't ever ask "what more could I need".

Posted Jul 11, 2014
First impression was ok. Not the Bellagio but we were on a budget. A/C worked and the shower was clean and hot." What more do we need?" Well, wash cloths on day 1 would have been nice. Oh, and toilet paper on day 2 would have been convenient. (I mean really, no toilet paper??) Day three both of or keys stopped working. And on day 4 we got in late, jumped in the shower, came out and NO BATH TOWELS! Give this place a pass.
