My second time

Pros: I like its looks.
Cons: The food at the restaurant.
Location: Great! There's a very nice Japanese restaurant named Welcome in the street behind it. Unmissable!
This was my second time there and it looked nicer. I do enjoy its 50's style. The staff is always there to help you: very nice and efficient.

The Hotel Dann Carlton Cali is just okay. The service level was very good, the room service food was reasonable, but... The breakfast buffet options were limited and the decor is dated. Things were clean, but appeared run-down. Slow elevators.

Swimming pool was under repairs, I was unaware of it, not appearing in my Expedia reservation and no compensation was offered or granted. Hidden daily fees will be charged at check out, that are not included in the reservation. Plus, ridiculous prices of mini bar, 7X what it costs at the corner store. The staff can be slightly arrogant, THIS IS NOT COLOMBIA! Ceiling cracked in the bath room, water accumulating around the bath tub granite when I take a shower, they must bring a shop-vac everytime they clean the room, how else would they clean that? Better take just a bath. Also, the photos of the room I reserved online didn't match the one I was given (except for the bathroom, granite it was). The room walls were painted plain white and even have some paint pealing off!!! Plus, listening to the work done on the swimming pool two floors below at 7h30 AM, nice wake-up call. Noisy A/C from the 80's. Even my local friends agree, very popular hotel in El Penon, overrated, the rooms don't reflect the outside and reception. Overrated, Overpriced, there's so much better in El Penon or Centenario, Normandia, Granada even San Antonio. I was very dissapointed.

They constantly change the rates. I asked for wake up service. They did not provided it, and I almost could not take mi flight to Miami.

In general, the hotel is good but it doesn't have anything that makes it different from the rest.
