Convenient Hotel for Downtown Cali, Colombia

Pros: Location and affordability
Cons: Food was so so. If they could improve the quality of the food, it would be a better place to stay while in Cali.
Wait Staff were helpful. Cleaning personnel were not fluent in English. Front desk was fluent in English and very helpful.

Couldn't find the "Wonderful".

Pros: Gave me a "sour taste in my mouth", despite the many other nice and helpful people.
Cons: My review speaks for itself.
Location: Hotel is surrounded by hectic traffic in an upper-class residential high-rise neighborhood, with a sprinkling of good restaurants.
Check-in was efficient, but rather aloof. My room was on the lowest floor, overlooking a large concrete roof with A/C units and lots of electrical conduits. There was quite a bit of traffic noise coming through the window. My request for a higher up room was denied with the standard excuse of being booked out. It was not true; I checked their web site. The room was relatively small, but well furnished, except for the bed which appeared to have a worn-out and bumpy mattress. Breakfast was very good with pleasant, attentive female staff. For the afternoon and evening shift I had to deal with 2 young waiters who's service was not only slow and inattentive, but outright contemptuous. In 3 days neither one ever greeted me in any language, forget about a smile, nor said "please" or "thank you", and stared at me blankly upon me leaving the dining area. Their "master stroke" came when they sent 2 staff members after me into the lobby, loudly accusing me in front of a dozens of people of not having signed my check. I had done just that with another, more pleasant older waiter. Later on they seemed to turn the heat up on me, when one of them put a check on my table without a word, as usual. Then, standing uncomfortably close to me, he pointed his finger toward the check for an extended period of time, just as one would do telling a disobedient dog to sit, in my case to sign immediately. I was appalled. This should not reflect on the many very nice and helpful people I encountered.

Nice hotel in a centric location

Very good hotel. Rooms are spacious and very well decorated and with soundproofed. The swimming pool is excellent with a full 25 M length. The only issue I had was the noise from the street in the first room facing the front of the hotel but it is probably because I'm used to sleeping with no noise.

Stay at InterContinental Hotel Cali, Colombia

Pros: It is a very modern facility. The staff is very large relative to what I am use to seeing in similar hotes in the U.S.
Location: I didn't tour anything near by. The hotel has a very large pool and good recreational facilities.
This is outstanding hotel for a stay in Cali Colombia. It is very modern and has a large staff that very responsive to the patrons needs. The key staff speak English which is a big plus to any non-Spanish speaker. There are several restaurants and excellent meeting facilities for business meetings.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Cozy beds
Cons: Service in the pool area, very poor.
Location: Excellent location, good restaurants arround.
Concierge attention: VERY GOOD! I went for a wedding and I got all I need. Dry clean service very fast, mini bar in the room complete and delicious food.

Nice hotel - restaurant service really lacks.

Pros: Rooms are nice
Cons: More attentive service.
Hotel was nice, but the restaurant menu fails to offer any appetizers and it took over 15 mins to have a server come to our table. When we wanted the check, took forever to track anyone down, too.
