“Nice place to stay in Bayeux”

Great location near the tapestry and other centre ville attractions. We drove there, and the parking area was a bit tight to get into, but we managed just fine. Great price, very nice comfy room!

“The Best”

Excellent. the position to the Cathedral, Tapestry, Town was ideal. The welcome was excellent and you were told of all the highlights of a visit, plus how to get to various places of interest. A beautiful and restful garden. Plus a very good beakfast - with the addition of pancakes. We have no hesitation in recommending Aggarhti.

“Beautiful B&B”

Located Centrally... Madam Myriam is a great host. We felt well taken care of. They serve you a generous breakfast. Bring cash to pay for your room.

“It`s always about location, but service was also great”

Myriam and her sons run a lovely bed and breakfast-style hotel in the medieval town of Bayeux, Normandy. They were welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is two blocks from the fabulous Bayeux Tapestry and another two blocks to the wonderful Notre Dame Cathedral. It`s a slightly longer walk to the Battlefields museum. There are numerous restaurants and bars within a five-minute walk. The hotel buildings date from the 14th century, so things are a little tired looking. It`s a work in progress. The room itself was lovely. My only suggestion is to vary the breakfast. We stayed three nights, and it was always the same: a basket of bread and a croissant with your choice of hot beverage. Still, we`re talking French bread . . . :) Bayeux is an easy day trip by car to Mont St. Michel and to the D-Day Landing beaches and museums. Merci, Myriam and Pierre! Karen from Yukon, Canada

“Perfect Location and Charming French Placement”

Madam greeted us, and showed us all around. B&B is perfectly located between Famous Church, Famous Tapestry, close to shopping, restaurants. Madam prepared a special tour map for us around Normandy Area. I would love to return and stay longer.

“Would return again to experience the French small town flavor”

Myriam was a very gracious hostess who spoke very good English. As this was our first time in Bayeux, she took extra time with us to tell us about the sites around the area including restaurants and shopping areas . She timed breakfast around our travel schedule which was greatly appreciated.

“Great hostess”

This B&B is a delightful place for a short stay in Bayeux. Miriam was a wealth of information about the Normandie area. The room was quite small -- our only problem was that we are tall people (5'9" and 6") and the slope of the ceilings made it hard to stand up straight without bumping our heads. But that minor inconvenience was made up for by the warmth and helpfulness of Miriam and her family. She immediately dispelled any stereotypes of the French people being unwelcoming to Americans. We would love to return -- this time we would probably request a room on the lower floor.

“Homely in Bayeux”

Lovely hospitality when we arrived. Shame we were not warned about the three little dogs and although they were not a problem, it could have been if you didn't like them. The room we were given was very small and had a slanting attic roof that was difficult to negotiate. We had to re-arrange the bed to be able to stand up. Breakfast was lovely and sociable round a big old table with crepes, bread, croissants, juice and hot drink. Miriam is a lovely lady and was most helpful with our travels and adventures around the area. The house was a stones throw from the centre and convenient for not only the Bayeux area, but the normandy beaches and places of interest. Recommended for location and hospitality
