Outstanding: all expectations met.Posted Oct 19, 2014
We have travelled a good deal with varying degrees of satisfaction, noting with chagrin that properties occasionally embellish their features in the property/amenities descriptions. This property was exactly as described (very nice) and met all of our key priorities: cleanliness, security, quality. The rooms are nicely appointed and are meticulously cleaned, the linens were comfortable, and the area was tranquil. The parking lot was quiet and well lit and the property well-secured. The staff were exceptional and very kind. We didn't try the restaurant as we were touring daily so cannot provide comments with respect to food. We recommend with enthusiasm.

Great location and good hotelPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Breakfast and location excellent.
Cons: General upkeep - threshold strip kept coming away, bathroom bin full on arrival, broken chair in lobby. Lighting very poor in rooms and public areas.
Location: Good as base to cover D Day related sites.
Excellent spot for Normandy Beaches and related sites, as we wanted. Good access to local restaurants, short drive away. Décor modern but rather depressing and lighting didn't help. Excellent breakfast.

Basic hotel with the essentials, reasonable pricePosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Clean, quiet, comfortable, TV could be hooked up to iPad / iPhone
Location: Located south of the town centre so is a bit of a walk to the beach.
My wife and I were after a reasonably priced hotel for a one night stay in the area while travelling back to Paris and decided on this hotel. Best Western Hotels are effectively the same everywhere so you pretty much know what to expect which is exactly what we were after.

Good location from the portPosted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Position to the ferry port.
Cons: To make a bar area as there isn't one!
Stayed here on the outward journey and on the way home for an early ferry crossing. The staff are friendly and helpful. They speak good English which helps if you are not much of a French speaker. The resturant on the home ward leg was fantastic! Great food, good service and the choice was great. The wine list also lots of choice. We have eaten in many michelin star resturants and this food was on par!! We will be back in the near future again.

Hoesttly supprised at the great French cusinePosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Good locatio close to harbour and ferries. Plenty of parking and free wi-fi. Excellent food.
Cons: Bathrooms are 'pods' similar to a ship bathroom.
Best Western Hotels are a mid-priced chain of hotels, and the room was as exoected, clean, comfortable and as expected, but nothing special. But, the food was excellent, nothing like the bog-standard restaurant food I anticipated. I would stay again just based on the cusine.

Brilliant restaurantPosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel facilities are adequate, clean room, comfy bed and handy for the ferry, but the complete surprise was the fantastic quality of the food we had for dinner in the restaurant- even the basic 3 course"formule" was exceptional. Best food of our trip!
