Lovely house set in large gardens with water fowl.Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: I liked its style, its interior decoration, its space, and the ducks and geese outside on the water. The staff were also attentive and friendly.
Cons: The cooking at dinner and a shower screen over the bath.
Location: The hotel is near Bayeux and also the Normandy beaches.
This was a comfortable hotel, with good facilities and lots of space. The breakfasts were excellent, with the possibility of making your own pancakes and boiling your eggs to suit your own taste. Dinner the first night was good, but there were long waits the second evening, and the fish and vegetables were both severely overdone. The staff were charmimg.

Wonderful staffPosted Jun 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff were so helpful, One member even met up with us in his spare time to show us places were wanted to see in connection with the d Day landings. The Chateau was beautiful. Altogether a great place for a break.

Beautiful locationPosted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
If staying for more than one night be prepared to drive into town to eat . Restaurant was good but service very slow, only one server to do everything from taking orders, serving, answering phones, checking guests etc. Food was good and favourable Bring your own hair dryer as one in room took forever to dry long hair. Internet frustrating but that's Europe for you

Charming hotelPosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Charming hotel close to historic WWII sites in Bayeux. The chateau and grounds were beautiful. Creek running through property with ducks, geese and swans swimming. Historic building with old-world charm. Room was decently comfortable, but the bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together. Staff was friendly, but did not speak as good English as we hoped. It was easy to get to and from the hotel with our rental car, but we didn't use public transportation.
