“Outstanding. Highly recomended”

A+ Perfect!!. This hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. The only recomendation that I would make is to expand wireless internet into the guests rooms. WiFi was only available in the lobby. The staff was great and really made an extra effort to understand and speak english. Bravo and thank you to all at the Hotel Luxembourg

“quiet retreat”

This hotel was easy to find and easy to stay at. Staff spoke english and was very helpful. Room was basic, but clean and comfortable and a good value.

“If you stay in Bayeux, this is the Hotel.”

It still has it's warm Norman charm and it is central to the entire town. It's markets on Wednesday, the nice little restaurants and even a laudromat. The towns charisma hasn't changed, even since the invasion. Great hotel and great service. If you are English speaking, not to worry, they are very accommodating with better english than me. 5 stars like on General Omar Bradley's collar.

“TV did not work”

TV did not work. Not much help getting it fixed.

“Good stay”

We only stayed for two nights, the staff was nice, and the location was great. Remember Breakfast isn't free, and it isn't cooked. Room was clean, it was a good stay

“Good Enough To Return”

Overall satisfied with the hotel; however, there was no room service whatsoever! Would have been nice to know. The staff was very friendly and the hotel restaurant was made up for this. There was a man who was former park ranger who worked at the desk who had an interesting view on life in the service industry. Will return again.....

“Great Western”

we stayed in the annexe which was only acessible by stairs ( no lift ) - it was diffcult having to carry all the suitcases up two flights of stairs. The arrangements for breakfast didn't seem to run smoothly with the supply of bread running out.

“Not a goo smell!”

The bathroom was extremely smelly - please get rid of wooden loo seats!!

“Decent place to stay in Bayeux”

This hotel is "very" downtown -- makes it close to walk to most places to see in town -- couple of blocks to train station - tourist 'places' - post office. Bathrooms are very small - rooms are not like american size, but not too small -- staff seemed friendly and tried to communicate in English. Hotel did have free Wi-Fi [wireless] and a small car park that was free. For a clean place to sleep at night -- it worked just fine.

“Quaint Bayeux Hotel”

Pro's: This hotel is real small-village France. It's quaint, a great location for exploring the Norman area, and relatively clean. Has good WiFi, for a fee of course. Con's: No A/C. We were lucky as the weather was delightful for France (low 50's at night). Parking is sparse. Our original room that was booked was way too small, had not-so clean bedsheets, and had standing water on an adjacent roof right outside the window (that was required to be open...see no AC comment) with pigeons surrounding it. A real problem if you have allergies or Asthma. Seems like an easy fix for the hotel to do...? they haven't done it? Luckily we upgraded to an available better room...In conclusion, I would recommend it as long as you don't expect 5 (or even4) star service.
