Nice hotel nearthe portPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: It is very convenient and close to the harbour and the shops.
Cons: Nothing it is a very good 3 star hotel
Location: Honfleur is a delightful place and is a "must" to visit.
This was a very pleasant and comfortable hotel. The parking area is however very tight. The hotel is very near the harbour front and there are masses of restaurants nearby.

The position of the hotel was very good a short walk from the centre of Honfleur with parking and staff allowed us to stay an hour longer with the car before we left. After being informed of an un emptied bin in the bathroom and hair in the bath( which washed down) everything else seemed perfectly clean and the duty officer noted this to talk to the staff.

Location: Great location with Bus stop almost outside your door
Honfleur was the last of our destinations on a long Europe holiday, and thus had to compete with a lot of fantastic experiences we enjoyed along the way. The Hotel La Diligence did not let us down one bit. We enjoyed a large room with an even larger ensuite with the hotel situated right at the entrance to the WOW factor rated Honfleur. The room was immaculately clean on the ground floor which made it easy with our large suitcases. The staff could speak english which was a bonus. There is a security gate which can be operated by the guests with their room keys. The optional Breakfast offered a variety of continental choices and was quite adequate. We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to experience a few days in this stunningly beautiful Town. Thank you to Maryse and all the staff for having made our stay special. Great town & location; hotel needs a little...Posted Jul 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were pleased w/the hotel's location (near harbor, museums, restaurants, large grocery store, Sat. & Wed. markets, town activities) and "Elena" provided us w/much good information to help us on our 1st visit to Honfleur. The parking, tho, just about drove us crazy, as we had a rental car that barely seemed to squeeze thru the passages, and there aren't enough free spaces on weekends. La Diligence needs to repair its exterior stairways/wood, carpeting and replace the king-sized mattresses, which tend to sag in the middle. One of us actually slept on the extra bed 4 of the 6 nights. There is no ventilation in the toilet, but good windows in the bedroom and bathroom. Note: NO air-conditioning (much needed this July). Also much needed: reliable READING lights; the little decorative lamps just aren't strong enough, and it took us 3.5 days to get an extra one of those. Perhaps a floor lamp or some sort of larger table lamp? Room was cleaned thoroughly each day & plenty of linens provided. Shower curtain is necessary around the tub area. Refrig was big enough to store a minimal amount of food, but its purpose is to sell the products inside.

very comfortable small hotelPosted Sep 6, 2010
this small family run hotel is conveniently situated less than 5 minutes walk from the harbour. the rooms, very clean and comfortable, are around a courtyard with hanging baskets and window boxes. very welcoming. Would recommend Honfleur as convenient for a short stay before taking the ferry.

Perfect locationPosted May 26, 2010
Couldn't recommend this hotel more highly - very clean in delightfully quiet surroundings - helpful staff and ideally situated. Ample parking available at no charge. Didn't have the breakfasts so can't say what they were like but I am sure that it would have been perfect bread and croissants and great coffee. English breakfast was available if wanted although why anyone would want it with all the glorious French produce available beats me. Comfortable bed but a French double is smaller than an English double.
