Great visit

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: We thought breakfast was included in the price of the room--we thought we paid for it already, but it could have been something we overlooked.
Beautiful, peaceful location near Omaha Beach--D-Day Tours. The hotel staff took great care of us.

Very convenient for WW2 Normandy Landings

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Breakfast choice was extensive. Although we didn't have time, the pool looked great.
Cons: Very little space between the wall/one side of the double bed. The coffee maker had no instructions so 'trial and error'. Few hangers and no drawers
Location: Down a windy country lane but very close to all the historical sites.
We enjoyed our short stay while we visited Medieval and WW2 historical sites. The restaurant was excellent if a little dear.

Surprisingly Nice Hotel

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Location, quiet surroundings, pool.
Cons: Rooms are a bit tight. Our rooms appeared to be the only ones without a balcony.
Location: Beautiful setting on a golf course. Near to Omaha Beach, American Cemetery, Eisenhower Command Post, Moulin des Rondelles battlefield.
Pleasant small hotel with restaurant, swimming pool, spa, and golf course. Driving via navigator to the site we thought at first that we were driving the wrong way as the villages got smaller and the roads narrower. But it turns out we were taking a short cut. This hotel is a short drive away from Port‐en‐Bessin Huppain - a cute fishing village with many shops and restaurants. The hotel's rooms and not grand, but adequate and clean.

The Hotel was so clean and the staff very friendly

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: The Staff were so polite and courteous alway with a smile. The cleanness of the Hotel was outstanding. The room we had for the stay was perfect.
Cons: There was not one English speaking channel on the TV which was a excellent. Hey we were holiday and not bothered with the TV
Location: The location was perfect for the DDay beaches also the town of Bayeux. In fact you were placed for the whole of Normandy which is very pretty.
As soon as we arrived we just new that this was going to be a great break. The Hotel and the Staff made sure of that. My wife does not drink so I only needed a glass of wine with my meal. I'm not a wine expert I told the staff what main meal I was having and asked them if they could choose a wine for me, they did not disappoint. We did not pay in advance for the breakfast as we have had some bad experience in the past. We tried breakfast the first morning and yes we can well recommend that you pay in advance. The golf was on our doorstep, 2 well presented courses. A good test of golf with risk and reward in mind. By the way my wife beat both rounds. All the DDay beaches where very accessible which was the main reason why we went. Overall the Hotel played a main factor in our stay and without a doubt we will be going back, probably for a longer stay instead of 2 nights.

Excellent Stay

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Location and amenities.
Cons: TV needs fixed or replaced.
Location: Visited D-Day memorials and museum.
Hotel is first class and staff was great. My only issue is TV is room has poor to no sound but staff tried to correct and ultimately moved me to another room. If your intent is to visit Normandy this is place to stay.
