“Excellent Stay”

Well kept, clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast available.

“Excellent base for Bayeux”

We stayed here with our two teenage children. I am very fussy about clean rooms and I was pleased with the standard at this Novotel. The hotel needs a lick of paint but essentially the condition was fine. Although the hotel is on a roundabout it was very quiet and the swimming pool was in a nice garden area. The breakfasts are expensive but we went to local patisseries or to the nearby Lidl and had good breakfasts there. We did not have dinner but they were not overpriced. This hotel worked well for us, the centre of Bayeux is a short walk away and it is a good base for exploring Normandy. Our teenagers liked the fact that they could see an under 19 football game going on in the small (quiet!) stadium nearby and watch it on TV at the same time. I would stay here again.

“Good quality hotel - great for exploring Normandy beaches”

The hotel was very good. The food was good quality and excellent value for money. All of the staff were very friendly. The pool was a bit on the cold side but the children didn't seem to mind.

“Great hotel at a good price”

We stayed here for one night and I thought this hotel was great. It's in an ideal location if you have a car. You'll see it as soon as you enter town. The staff were great and the hotel was very clean. The restaurant was a little pricey like the rest of France, but still very good. They have a small play area for the kids. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Great hotel, not too far from town”

Decent hotel, great base for exploring historic WW2 sites. Restaurant surprisingly good, not amazing but above average food for a hotel. Not as far to town as people say. We walked it easily in about 12mins flat ground no hills.

“convenient location”

Hotel very well positioned for Bayeux and access to the ring road. Breakfast expensive for a 3* at l4E. We breakfasted at Le Croissant Dore in the main street - lovely and only 6E. Housekeeping of room left a lot to be desired. We had a room for 3 and for most of our stay of 7 nights only had towels, cups, milk etc. for 2. On one occasion the dirty cups were left , also the room was not vacuumed and cleaned at all - and the beds just about made. Lovely view over the garden from the room also very quiet. Reception staff very helpful.

“Novotel Bayeux”

The hotel was within 10 minutes walking distance from old Bayeux and the pastoral view out our window was a welcome sight morning and evening. Housekeeping did a good job every morning, breakfasts and dinners were very satisfactory.
