Their attention to detail is amazing! Loved having a fireplace in our room and several outdoor seating areas with outdoor fire features. Location is absolutely perfect with beautiful ocean view and boardwalk for walks. Loved having breakfast delivered to our door in a basket next to door. We will be back.

The hotel is right by the ocean. 10 min drive to Hearst Castle. Along the road are all hotels. Staff is friendly and responsive. You can check in online. The room has a fireplace, the bathroom is spacious. I like their breakfast, burritos of your choice.

Beautiful views from our bedroom, can walk on the boardwalk on the ocean across the street. A couple of restaurants you can walk to from the hotel. Rooms are pretty sound proof but we kept the windows open to hear the waves across the street. I love staying here!

Great place, nice ocean walkway and so convenient. The room was very clean, bed extremely comfortable if you like a firm but soft mattress. Loved the fire pit and basket breakfast. Just nice vibes in general.

Great Family Time
Our family takes this trip to Cambria in October on or around the 29th and 30th in honor of our parents who loved this place. They celebrated their birthdays every year in Cambria, staying in Moonstone beach at The Sea Otter Inn most often. Our stay is about getting together and remembering them.

Almost perfect!
It was advertised to have a working fireplace. Unfortunately, my fireplace was broken and unusable. When at first we arrived the living area, television, kept blinking and blacking out every couple of minutes. I reported it but it seems nothing was done. I finally moved the cabinet, and somehow made it work myself.
