Nice Hotel next to the shops

Posted Mar 23, 2015
I had a delightful stay! The staff were lovely, the rooms were very comfortable and the lobby area was a nice relaxed area where you could grab a complementary drink (water, coffee or wine depending on the time of day). You can get to the mall without having to go outside. You are also a short walk away from tourist attractions and the Green T station where you can travel to Quincy Market, downtown shopping and Boston common or to the Copley area of Boston. I stayed for business but was there over a weekend too and this hotel was perfect for both business and pleasure. It is a dog friendly hotel and i did see lots of dogs in the lobby area so if you have animal allergies it may not be the place for you.

Modern hotel with well appointed rooms

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Wine in the lobby in evening, coffee in the morning. Helpful staff, very comfy bed and pillows.
Cons: Sound carried through the walls, could hear neighboring rooms and hall noise a little louder than some other hotels I've stayed in.
Location: CambridgeSide mall, downtown Boston, excellent restaurants.
Easy to find, easy parking in the mall garage. Quick check-in. Nice bed, big TV. Two bathrobes was a nice touch, plus all the usual. Wine glasses and wine bucket in room also. Overall a decently classy place. Just be sure to request a room with a view if you can, ours overlooked the courtyard; view of the river would be very romantic! Very quick access to downtown, the mall, and major highways and roads.

The only elevator up...

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Despite my personal preferences regarding the dinner and cocktail menu, this hotel is 5 stars. Comfortable in every sense of the word. I will be back!
Cons: The dinner menu is American-fare but honestly limited in its choices. I feel as if some improvements could be made to the dinner and cocktail menu.
Location: Situated between all major centers of dining and entertainment in Cambridge and Boston. The location is absolutely perfect. Tucked away nicely!
Frankly, I didn't even know there was a hotel connected to the Cambridgeside Galleria. Figuring out where to park was initially difficult but once you've discovered the secret elevator that goes into the hotel lobby, you're pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel looks. The decor is something of art deco with the slightest Italian inspirations. The staff was incredibly friendly. The dining was great! The menu was somewhat limited for my tastes and the drink menu consists of cocktails that are just a tad too floral and fruity. Considering its location, decor, cleanliness, dining, bar, staff... I give it 5 stars on my radar and nothing less. I am pleasantly surprised by this hotel and I WILL be back with my girlfriend in the near future.

Nice hotel in Cambridge/Boston area

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Everything. Ease of parking (under ground with access to the hotel and adjoining mall.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Green line station in walking distance (even with the cold and snow). Convenient without having to drive around Boston.
This hotel may fly under the radar compared to the more well known chains, but certainly can hang with the "big boys". Starting with the staff who are pleasant, friendly and welcoming, the hotel has a nice warm, homey feel to it. Large spacious rooms that were clean and well stocked. We had a very nice stay. Will stay there again.

beautiful hotel attached to a marvelous mall

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: The staff is terrific
Cons: not much
Location: the hotel is attached to the Galleria Mall so you have many eating and shopping options
We've stayed here many times and consider it one of our favorite hotels. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is wonderful and the wine reception each night is a great way to end your day and begin your evening.

very nice hotel conveniently located in Cambridge

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: More of a boutique hotel than a chain hotel.
Cons: It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room
Was on business trip to visit clients in Cambridge. The Bambara restaurant is a nice place for a business lunch. The staff was very friendly.

Great room, great staff

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Room was very comfortable.
Location: Within walking distance to Kendall Square (not necessarily with luggage) and easy access to Boston or Harvard Square.
Always received friendly greetings. Staff gave great advice on how to get around and what to do in some downtime I had.
