interesting stayPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
All the staff were helpful and pleasant. The room however, was very hot and if you had the light on in the bathroom it heated the towel rail and it could not be turned off. This was in the original part, in the newer bit they have air con. Very central would go back

Another NightPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked 5 rooms for this overnight stay, and put myself in the single room, what a mistake that was, I believe I was the only one of the 5 without air conditioning, and as usual in this country the room was to hot, Wifi worked after initial hiccups and was ok, bath room was clean so was the room in general, however outside of my room was the air con fans for the hotel lobby and this kept me awake both nights. The Hotel is well located for the city and has plenty of amenities, but sear clear of room 129.

Great Location. Lovely Hotel.Posted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay at The Bull. It is tricky to find initially when driving there and the car park post code is a bit confusing as it is different from the hotel even though it is right next to it. Look for Fitzwilliam Street which is opposite O' Neil's and Tesco on the main Westgate shopping street for entrance to the car park. It is just on the left as you turn into Fitzwilliam and easily missed if you don't watch out. But hotel is well situated a few yards away from a main shopping street with plenty of pubs and bars and perfect if you want to visit Peterborough Dogs which is only a short cab ride away from the hotel. You get a good service with friendly helpful staff. Your room comes with an iron and ironing board and even a fan as well as the usual amenities you would expect. Very clean and pleasant. Would recommend.

Good hotel for central PeterboroughPosted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: Old world charm has been maintained within a modernised hotel. Plenty of comfortable sitting areas in the bar/reception.
Cons: Lack of a lift
Location: Great for town centre/cathedral
A good hotel very central for the town centre shops and the cathedral. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good quality, as were the bar meals. Free parking available in hotel car park - but it's a bit difficult to find the entrance. Only downside is that the hotel does not have lift so lugging heavy bags to the second floor might be an issue (although the reception desk did offer assistance).

At best an OK hotelPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The car park is very difficult to find with Sat Nav struggling. The hotel was very warm with the air con not up to standard.

I liked this placePosted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Arriving quite early, the man at reception was as helpful as I could have wished. The room was well proportioned for a single and the bathroom very good. Happily recommend this hotel and the staff within. Thanks for a great stay.
