“Excellent hotel in the heart of Cambridge”

This hotel is a favorite with airline crews, and for a good reason. It has every expected convenience of Crown Plaza in the very center of Cambridge, walking distance to every college. Nice tasteful decor, pristine bathroom. While both internet and breakfast are pricey, like all quality chains Crown Plaza is catering to business travellers. At the same time, it has a excellent bar overlooking the street one floor above ground, where your coffee and rolls will be served if you do not want a large buffet breakfast. In fact, the bartender told us that he will keep the bar open "as long as there are customers, as late as they like." There is a computer in the lobby hooked up to a printer which is free for the customers at the bar, so you can check in and print your boarding pass. Probably enough for tourists. They have several rooms with two double beds facing the courtyard - highly recommended for a quiet night - the hotel is on a busy street popular with the bar-hopping young.

“Center of Cambridge action”

What a perfect choice to be within walking distance of everthing. Couple of blocks from the market. Easy to catch a bus to every where. 5 min cab ride to the train station. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Would definitly stay here again.

I just came back from the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cambridge and I can only say good things about it. Location was excellent, only a 4 min walk from the river and all the colleges. Rooms were clean and very spacious, and the staff was friendly and very helpful, the park the car for you and dont have to worry about a thing. We went there for a romantice weekend away and enjoyed the sights and restaurants, the breakfast in the hotel was also excellent, it had the typical buffet with loads of variety and a cook cooking anything you wanted on order in front of you, from fried eggs, pancakes and ommelettes to steaks! Must try the cooked breakfast as bacon and mushrooms were delicious! I would definately go back!!

“Lovely hotel, perfect location”

Perfect for a short city-break in Cambridge. Comfortable hotel within 5 minutes walk of all attractions, and right next door to a shopping mall! Staff excellent. All very friendly, and very helpful. I'll definitely stay there again.

“Cambridge Jewel”

Not the cheapest hotel in Cambridge, but one of the best, both in terms of modern conveniences and location in the heart of old Cambridge, a few blocks from the city centre and many of the colleges. The Crowne Plaza is well air-conditioned (especially by European standards) and was very accommodating about kids, allowing us to have three kids in the room with us (5 people total, using 2 double beds and a cot) which made the hotel very cost-effective for us. There is a full restaurant (bit pricey) and a large bar/tea/coffee area, the latter of which we used several times. The hotel rooms are very quiet.

“Suite Deal”

good clean hotel perfect location for my Emmanuel College reunion! Expedia's suite for the price of a room deal meant it was excellent value although the information exchange was such that it required a bit of negotiation at the reception to make it happen. Hotel staff were very polite about it though
