Handy for Cambridge and surrounding area.Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Excellent freshly-cooked breakfast.
Cons: In terms of general condition the PoW was a little 'tired'; however room was clean and comfortable. A refresh of the carpet and decor would help.
Location: Handy for Cambridge and surrounding areas assuming you have a car, otherwise could be a bit isolated.
Welcoming owner, good location for a short stay. We normnally go for motel type accommodation rather than a pub, so this was a little more personal. Premises were a little worn in terms of decor, but clean. Excellent breakfast, freshly made to order by the proprietor.

very pleasantPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The Welcome when we 1st Arrived and the Staff The Evening Meal and the Breakfast were Excellent, The Bed was Very Comfortable and the room was Lovely
Location: Hilton was a small village with buses that took you into Cambridge/St Ives and it is a Good base for Papworth Hospital.
people say that 1st impressions make all the difference and they certainly did, Simon (the Landlord) knew who I was straight away when my partner and I turned up which made me smile, he made us feel very welcome. The Hotel was just a short drive away from Papworth Hospital which is where my Partner and I had to go. The Staff were absolutely Lovely. We would Deffinately go back and recommend this Hotel to friends/family.

A day trip to Central EnglandPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
A last minute change in plans forced my relocation of my overnight stay. I booked the room 3 days before and found it exactly what I needed. Close to the train station in Huntingdon, very affordable and very comfortable. I'd return in a heart beat. The only downer was very ineffective wireless.

Nice food and staff but needs some TLCPosted Jun 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Firstly we didn't want the free breakfast and the landlord offered us free beer instead, something he didn't have to do, 2 free pints each per night. The home cooked food was nice and was an average price (£8-9 per meal). The downside was the room wasn't the cleanest we've stayed in and we didn't get our towels changed once in 3 nights, it's also pricey for the league it's in.
