We had a great experience at this hotel. Our room was on the back of the facility and overlooked the bay. We truely enjoyed our cup of coffee sitting outside our room enjoy the beautiful sunrise. A clean and comfortable room for the night.

comfortable and so close to town and restaurants

Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: convenient, up to date rooms.
Location: great location for sightseeing and leaf peeping. river, ocean breeze, friendly people and always something to do.
we stay at the belfast harbor inn while traveling to northern maine. beautiful trip to belfast and unbelievably stunning new bridge along route 1. best part of trip is staying at the belfast harbor inn. clean, comfortable beds, doesn't smell of old smoking rooms, spectacular views and delicious continental breakfast. also, so convenient having a restaurant steps away for dinner after spending 6 hours in the car.

Best location in Belfast!!!!

Posted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: See above.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Located central to everything. Belfast is like a mini Halifax N.S. Good shopping nearby and the local wineries rival those of Niagara on the Lake.
Fourth time staying here. It is the ONLY place to stay when in Belfast. Extremely well kept and they are still upgrading. Awesome vies of the water on the "bay" side of the motel and they have a great seafood place right next door. (Nataulis) with great prices. Plus the Young's Lobster Pound is only a quarter mile away and it is a B.Y.O.B. place Fresh lobster, white wine and the second floor patio overlooking the harbour. Pool is heater and a good size nd also well maintained. The first floor decks are very large and private and the second floor balconies are totally prvate from each other. Life doesn't get much better than this. Only side comment we would make is that it would be nice if they offered a hot breakfast. Otherwise, THE place to stay and very well priced. Location

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Location: As stated earlier the Inn is very far from major roads & towns. If you're into "antiquing" and flea markets. ..this would be your town.
The hotel was very nice with an awesome view out back but........location is everything. The Inn is situated very far from I95 & the bigger towns like Bangor & Portland. The staff was awesome and entertaining. Lol.

Belfast Maine is wonderful

Posted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: The location, the beautiful view, and the very friendly staff.
Cons: Screen doors on the balcony doors would be wonderful.
Location: Belfast is a wonderful coastal town in Maine. Much less congested than the little towns south of Belfast like Camden. Great restaurants in town
This hotel has a wonderful view and easy access location. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable.

The setting is spectacular.

This motel is located on the waterfront, with a lovely lawn and view of Belfast bay. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a bit worn and outdated. The motel web-site is somewhat misleading as we had expected to find a refrigerator in our room and did not. We spoke with several people who think that the motel is over-priced for what it is.

Belfast Harbor Inn - average

Posted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: Location, comfortable bed.
Cons: Air conditioning does not dry the air, only cools it.
Location: Went to the Maine Celtic Celebration in Belfast - good Irish music, heavy (i.e., Highland) games, fair food.
We were in Belfast during perhaps the hottest weather of the summer 2013. The room air conditioner kept the room cool, but did not dry it out at all. Otherwise, the room was fine, comfortable bed, nice shower. Breakfast was average, nothing hot except coffee and tea. Location is good, right on Route 1, about 1.5 miles from downtown Belfast.
