Fantastic hosts! Breakfast was superb and room was spacious, clean, and filled with extra special touches. Bathroom was large and updated. Lovely patio off our room and the back yard was phenomenal. Walking to town was just a few minutes.

beautiful gardens, walk to town, very clean rooms . Dan and Matt are great hosts, very friendly and made us feel at home. It’s a great place to stay!

Beautiful and quirky grounds!! Coming in at night, loved the fairy lights everywhere. There are lovely flower gardens and lots of VERY interesting things scattered throughout the gardens. Lovely back porch for dining or just chilling. LOVED the breakfast, and the owners were delightful. CLEAN!! Very very comfortable, highly recommend!

Very close to town! Walked to town for dinner every night and great walking for exercise everywhere! Owners Matt and Dan were very helpful with area excursions etc….Beautiful gardens and fire pit area! Very, very nice! AND delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast! We will return!

What makes a Bed and Breakfast stay a Great place to stay.....the owners. Wow, Mat and Dan friendliness and support are out of this world. Breakfast is 5 star. The facilities are wonderful...including the rear yard gardens. The location can't be beat....one block from downtown Camden. Just can't stay enough.

Great Camden Getaway
Matt and Dan are so hospitable, friendly, fun and pay attention to every detail. Breakfast is fantastic with all the choices and the morning, green smoothie is a must! We had a wonderful time! The suite was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Our stay at the Windward Inn exceeded expectations. Hosts were friendly, available at all times, and knowlegable about the area. We loved our room , with a sitting area and a gas stove - perfect for reading in the evenings. We also loved the "guest pantry" with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and snacks available at all times, including chocolate ! We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it to others.

Great location, the owners were a pleasure to speak with, many great recommendations regarding site seeing, dining, shopping etc... The Inn had lots of charm and character. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Would stay here again.

Great location. A short walk to everything in town and on the waterfront. In the other direction, a short walk to a hike of Mt Battie. Matt and Dan are terrific innkeepers and have a wealth of information about what to do in Camden and the surrounding areas. Great breakfast!

Owners Dan & Matt do an excellent job at making guests feel warmly welcomed and informed about everything cool to do & see around the Camden/ Rockland region! The Windward House is an historic property that is well-kept, clean and homey. Breakfast was awesome!

We came to Camden to celebrate my birthday and we couldn’t pick a better place than Windward House. It was very easy to find and location of the house is perfect. We met Dan at the reception and he offered to upgrade our room to a room with freestanding vintage bathtub and fire place. We gladly accepted this offer and we were amazed how perfect this room was. Also, we were able to park our car right in the front of our room and that was great. The next day at the breakfast we met Matt and we also had a chance to meet Dan’s and Matt’s lovely dog Bernie. For the breakfast you have 4 options, we tried two of four and it was delicious. While you are served breakfast, Dan and Matt make sure to let you know all the things you can do and see in Camden and around Camden. We would gladly recommend this place to everybody. It was one of the best Bed & Breakfast stay for us.
