“Great B & B in Belfast, ME”

Cathy & Carl are splendid hosts. House is charming, & each room has separate character. Breakfast every morning had an option of 8:00 or 9:00 seating. Every afternoon there were crackers & cheese & sherry to be sipped on the lovely porch. Owners are accommodating of dietary or scheduling needs.

“"The Home I Wish I Could Call My Own"”

The perfect bed and breakfast -- I feel like a have returned "home" every time I stay at the Jeweled Turret. Cathy and Carl are the most welcoming hosts, the breakfasts are delicious, the rooms are comfortable, decorated to fit the historic style of the house and immaculately clean. The back porch offers a wonderful place to read, sip a cup of tea and relax. The Jeweled Turret provides the model to which all B&Bs should aspire.

“Quintessential B & B - and then some!”

Beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle, friendly proprietors - beautiful porches to sit and relax. The breakfasts were over the top -delicious! Bed was comfortable, bathroom just lovely. We really enjoyed it. Thank you Kathy and Carl!

Area recommendations

I would recommend this area for shopping, also for the lovely cruise on the harbor on the "Patience". Unfortunately, the food in two restaurants was very disappointing - Delvino's and Tracy's Diner. We found a great sandwich shop to pack a picnic lunch - "Bell the Cat" at Reny's Plaza. If we ever go back we would try some restaurants on the other side of the harbor.

Events and shows

Sunset harbor cruise on the steamship "Patience". Relaxing, affordable fun. Spectacular views. Lovely entertainment - guitar and fiddle.
