Good for Cameron Highlands

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Helpfulness of the boss
Cons: Repair the broken things in the rooms
Location: It is located in Tanah Rata. Brinchang is closest to the interesting spots, but if you take tours, it is ok, because it will bring you by car.
I had looked for a good hotel in Cameron Highlands but apparently, it is hard to find one good in Tanah Rata. So this one was quite good although there is no aircon in the room (and contrary to what is said about Cameron Highlands, Tanah Rata is quite hot, I was told after Brinchang is better for the temperatures and closest to the interesting spots), and there were things broken in the room: I couldn't lock the door, both lock systems were broken. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken too. The staff was ok and the boss, very pleasant, helpful, trying to satisfy all his customers. Most of the people staying in the hotel book tours from the hotel (there are at least 2 companies) and the boss can help you and give you advice. This is what I liked very much with this hotel.

A short getaway holiday for the family

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Good location, good value for money and clean room.
Location: Good steamboat dinner at Brinchang and nice Chinese food at Tanah Rata. Convenient to drive to Boh Tea plantation.
We stayed at a room for 3 adults. The room was very nice and clean. Room service was prompt. The buffet breakfast was simple but nice. A very pleasant stay indeed.

Cosy Hotel

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The room was quite spacious for a quadruple room.
Cons: The bedroom queen-sized mattress - too soft for two person.
Location: Near to restaurants and night market
Overall the stay at the hotel is satisfactory. Staff at the reception could have been more courteous. The bedroom mattress was too soft for comfort for a sharing queen-sized bed.

Friendly staff but Overrated and expensive

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Expensive for the amenities that it offers, which is essentially none. Food options are very limited and taste is nothing much to talk about. Staff is smiling, friendly and helpful.

Room is large, but toilet is poor

Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room is large with great scenery, but toilet is poor. The bath towels are smelly and not clean, and the smoke smell comes out from the air vent of the toilet all the time.

Extremely Noisy

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: The architecture
Cons: Noise control
Location: Lots of strawberry picking, tea and bee farms, and if you like boiled food they have steamboat (or hot pot) everywhere.
It's a beautiful place both inside and out. The rooms are fine. However, we were getting a sense that there wasn't much to do in the hotel itself. You pay a lot of money to stay in a nice room. That's kind of it. The breakfast buffet wasn't too great, the selection was vast, but the taste wasn't there (lacking salt or something). The location is fine, you're a five minute drive to town (where the Starbucks is). The biggest of the issues was the noise. We're so close to the street the cars that drive by feel like they are outside your window, they were also doing some kind of construction below (so no naps here to make up for the lack of sleep at night), and the call to prayer was sooooo incredibly loud you thought the mosque would be in the lobby. I have to say though it was one of the most beautiful calls to prayer I have ever heard. So, come here if you like pretty but don't like to sleep.
