Could have been better

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: The waitress in the on site restaurant
Cons: The pillows were just about as flat as the bed sheets, and that was all 4 of them, all fluffed up they looked pretty good, but that's where it ended.
Location: It was o.k., We were there for an in town event, so we didn't realy need to find something to do...
The check in attendant was somewhat helpful, The waitress in the restaurant was very pleasant and efficient, but the rest of the stay and accommodations were what I would call adequate, especially for the price we paid.

Not a good experience

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Arrived on a Saturday for one night. Hotel was mostly occupied with sports teams and their families. Very noisy. Room was a good size with two double beds. Bathroom was to small. Worst problem was that we discovered ants on a/c unit and desk area. Generally the room and bathroom was not as clean as we would expect from a Radisson. We reported the bug issue to the front desk and the rep stated that "we have an exterminator come every Monday."

Always a great stay!

Very convenient to downtown Harrisburg with easy parking. The rooms have been renovated and very, comfortable. With multiple access doors, you are never far from your car. Good valuable and reliable quality.

One night stay in March

Posted Mar 6, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed as our son was entering MEPS and the Navy. The restaurant buffet meal was adequate for dinner and breakfast - we didn't order from the menu. Room was comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. Beds were SleepNumber ones [neat!] but one of the beds didn't have a working adjuster. Was hard to get the room warm. Carpet and bedding were nice.

The front lobby was freezing cold each time the door would open, felt sorry for front desk employees. The towels in the room were more like rags, discolored, holes, shredding on the sides. I did mention to front desk at checkout that the towels were the worst I ever saw and was uncomfortable using them. I found a filthy, dried out wash cloth hanging over the showed curtain which led me to believe the cleaning staff uses the towels to clean the rooms once the customer leaves thus their poor condition. The aside the restaurant, food and lounge were nice and the location was very convenient to downtown Harrisburg. I plan on staying again but will insist on fresh towels after checkin.

CONVENIENT BUT OVERRATED

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Accessibility to the main roads and downtown.
Cons: Decor and room amenities
Location: Location was great for what we were in town for.
Wasn't overly impressed with the room. I felt that for the money it should have been nicer and roomier.

Unremarkable stay

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Cons: The rooms could use a small refrigerator and microwave.
Location: There are a few restaurants close by to eat but the majority of sites in Harrisburg are short drive across the river.
We were only in for two nights. The room was adequate but the bathroom was cramped with the door blocking the shower. The hallway rugs were being replaced with new carpet that were not colors I would have picked. It already looked like it was old. The bed was a little hard but OK.
