“Stay before we ski”

We stayed for 2 nights in a suite with a King size bed, the room was clean and well laid out. Would recommend the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient.

This was my second stay at the Old House for a spa getaway and I am sure I will return again. Courtney/Comox is located in a beautiful area of the island and is situated within driving distance to many attractions and the capital city Victoria. I went here for stress relief and was not disappointed. The one bedroom suite has a full kitchen with great appliances and all the kitchen utensils you need. With all the local produce readily available though farmer's markets and roadside stands, it is nice to be able to prepare some of your own meals. But there are also some great restaurants. Check out "Locals" restaurant with renowned chef Ronald St. Pierre who uses locally grown and produced foods. Amazing! Great hiking trails, beautiful mountains and wonderful beaches. Staff at both the hotel and spa are great. Hotel members receive a discount at the spa. Great getaway.

“Nice place to stay in Courtenay / Comox”

Really nice suite with fireplace and flatscreen TV. Offers free shuttle service to airport... I think the only hotel/motel in the area that does. Will come back!

“Scenic but could be tastier”

A well appointed building on a scenic and historic property. I don't the restaurant is as good as it used to be but it's on the way back

“Review”

This is an excellent hotel very clean and the hot tubs were great. Only one minor complant, upon returning to our room at a reasonable time 10:00 pm we were told to quite down by the receptionist. We were not loud and only talking this made us feel like little children, not what you would expect. He could have just talked to us but he put his finger in front of his mouth and said shush.....! Apart from that incident it a great place. Would stay again.
