“2 star hotel for a 2 star price”

Having read previous glowing reviews regarding this hotel we were not sure that we were in the right place at first, as the hotel looks run down from the outside and the public areas and hallways etc badly need to be fixed up. However the rooms themselves have been refurbished and are clean and comfortable. The room we booked through expedia was very very small and on checking in the hotel offered to upgrade us to a larger room for 25% more money per night. Breakfast was pretty basic. Food at the tavern in the mall attached to the hotel was OK and the service was good.
