They offered me two rooms in one day . In one room, there was too much noise from a.c machine. The second the room smell so bad. The hotel put a machine to absorb the bad smell,but in 3 hours the smell came back. I end up sleeping on the floor in the lobby because there were no more rooms. I left the next day.

Amazing personnel making sure we were taken care of. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked by the chef there, and the front desk staff are the best! Clean room. If there are two of you, it’s best to ask for double beds as their beds are small for two people. Otherwise, the best! They booked a nice tour for us to visit Edzna, archaeological site and Playa Tortuga. Booked us an early 4:45am airport service to get to the airport on time.

Wow! I was very impressed with this hotel; they made me feel like a queen in a castle. our room was amazing…by the pool. The room looked very elegant when we arrived. we went out for the evening and came back to a cosy looking room. They had added a blanket on the bed and turned down the sheets. this was accompanied with two chocolates on the bedside table. Wow! best service I have had in a long time.

We had a lovely stay at this quaint hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I am not sure that we got the room that we paid for. We booked a superior double and requested a window. We were originally placed in a ground floor room with no window. When we requested a change they readily moved us to what I think was a ‘standard’ room with 2 single beds. We did have a window though. Breakfast was a nice offering and we appreciated being able to eat at the hotel.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but very nice inside. Staff is great. Not a lot of English spoken bet desk is fluent enough to cover the basics.

El personal es muy agradable. El desayuno que ofrecen es bueno y a muy buen precio. Sería bueno que implementarán una manera de desperdiciar menos agua no cambiando sábanas y toallas cuando el huésped se queda más de un día.

This is a beautiful old colonial property and the ambience is lovely. However our room smelled moldy, the plaster was hanging off in places on the ceiling. Also we could only get internet in the lobby and not in our room. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was good. We had a top floor room off of the street and it was very noisy.

Little gem in the city

The property is well located and easy to access from the Bus station by Taxi. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Great location, big rooms beautiful building.
Overall our stay was great, the room was beautiful and the whole Hotel is lovely. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere. It was nice to have a pool when it was so hot and the breakfast was good for the price. We did have a leak from our air conditioner in the room, they initially bought in a tray for the water but this was then removed by the cleaners, we had to put a towel down but it got completely wet. This didn't ruin our stay but worth noting.

Great base in Campeche!
We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Very clean, amazing location, huge room, and beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was unfailingly friendly. Clean and gorgeous pool. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Choice for Hotel to See Campeche City
The nicest hotel of our trip, gorgeous and huge room in a Colonial mansion with functioning air conditioning, nicely located near restaurants, the main plaza, the city museum and walls.

Tres bon hôtel a campeche
Bon hôtel en plein centre historique de Campeche. Les locaux sont bien entretenus, le personnel serviable, et les chambres confortables. L'hôtel est très charmant même s'il faut faire abstraction du chapelet géant au dessus du lit.

Jewel in Campeche
Such atmosphere! We really enjoyed the history of the building and the service was great. Thank you to the staff. This hotel was the first in the city after being the military in barracks for the Spanish. It is walking distance to the seafront and lots of restaurants.

Perfect spot
Situated in the lovely old town, Castelmar is steps from Calle Ocho, a central street lined with fine restaurants that runs through the old town square dominated by the stunning cathedral. Two blocks in another direction brings you to a pedestrian only zone filled with outdoor dining options in the dry season. Two blocks west and you’re at the Malecón, a seven km seaside promenade cherished by locals who bike, stroll, walk their dogs and even hold Zumba classes with a blazing sunset backdrop.
