Nice place to stay.

Pros: Resturant and bar.
Cons: update the furnishings
Location: I was there on work.
I was looking for a place in Ponoka but what I knew of was booked, so I checked out the next closest place. The hotel was nice and clean and had a great resturant. The stay was nice and the staff was friendly.

It was easy to locate the hotel. It was the perfect location to enable us to attend the Provincial Soccer Games.

Wetaskiwin AB Hotel

Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Noise
Location: Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada
I had no complaints about the Hotel in general. It was more to do with the location of my room. I was too close to the Bar /Restaurant and ice machine area. I found it to be noisy late at night when needing peace and quiet since I had my 1 year old with me. A room farther away from these areas would have been preferable and should have been a consideration of the Staff when the room was booked. They did give me a ground floor room as requested however which was good. I also found the room to be little small considering the amount of beds and furniture in it but it did serve it's purpose.

Drug use open in hotel

The hotel itself was clean, the room was very nice. Service in the restaurant was extremely slow and the waitresses were not friendly. At 9a.m. one morning a lady was snorting a line of cocaine in the bathroom off the dining room and when I notified the front desk clerk she shrugged her shoulders like it was not a big deal.
