“NICE HOTEL”

NICE HIGHWAY HOTEL. HAD A FRIDGE IN THE ROOM AS WELL AS SATELITE T V. , FREE BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING AND HELPFULL CLERKS.

“Great & inexpensive”

Clean, well maintained with comfortable rooms, nice beds and reasonably priced compared to most other motels in the Berkshire region. We stayed here on a visit to Tanglewood and it was only a few minutes drive to the Lenox area,

“Great Value in the Berkshires”

My husband and I often make the 2.5hr drive out from Boston to go to shows in western MA. Unfortunately, in the past we have ended up driving home the same night because we didn't want to pay the steep hotel prices in the touristy areas near the concert and theater. On our last visit, we tried the Berkshire Travel Lodge, as the cheapest motel we could find within 10miles of Tanglewood. We were a little nervous about what conditions we would find, but were very pleased! Nothing fancy, but perfectly clean--24hr open reception desk for late check-in, decent coffee at breakfast, and even a pool for the kids! Can't beat the convenience of the location--right off I-90, but far enough up the hillside that the traffic noise is minimal. Highly recommended for a 1-2 night family stay.

“Not a good experience”

We reserved a room with a king bed. The room had a queen bed. The satellite dish was not working so both nights when we got back to the hotel, the satellite was out. We had to have the hotel clerk come and reprogram the satellite for the TV. The shower pressure was horrible and there was hot water for about one minute. We would not return to this hotel and would not recommend it for anyone.

“Maybe ok for one night stop while traveling, otherwise do not recommend.”

On the good side: The room was clean. It had recently been painted and the carpet was fairly new as was the bathroom floor. Breakfast was ok. Had fridge and microwave. Negative: We stayed 3 nights for business. The first day the maid did not clean up the room.No one offered to get a maid in-actually never saw any maids at any time. We had to go to the desk for towels and toilet paper. There was not an extra roll. Also no tissues. I had to ask for a hairdryer. No iron,etc but I suppose you had to ask. Totally different managers each night. All restaurants or stores were something of a drive away. The outside and grounds really could use some sprucing up. It is probably ok for just a one night stop on a trip but I do not recommend a longer stay.

“Door stuck shut should have been a warning.”

Over priced, dirty, no maintenance. Door stuck shut and took awhile to figure out how to open it. Very dirty and shower was too small to turn around in. do not recommend staying here.
