in need of updatingPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: price and location.
Cons: needs updating and cleaning.
Location: wineries, shopping, antiques and casino
we have been to your hotel many times. Have always been satisfied. This year it seems especially run down and unkempt. The stairs needed some serious vacumning The breakfast buffet was very disappointing.

Not luxurious but more than adequate.Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Friendly service. Nice continental breakfast.
Cons: The hot and cold faucets in the sink and shower were backwards but once I figured that out, I was fine. Wi-Fi seemed to be down half the time.
Location: Don't really know. Just know it was centrally located to where the conference was held and all I needed was within a 3 mile radius.
Attended a conference x 4 days. Close to many restaurants, churches, businesses and stores. Road access is great if need to beyond a 5 mile radius.

Great Value and Comfort!Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Price, Staff Friendliness, Cleanliness, Comfort
Cons: The blanket should be changed, but it wasn't a big deal (otherwise we would've asked housekeeping to change it for us).
Location: Simply Crepes around the corner is fantastic. Cheaper gas at Geneva or Avon than Canandaigua. Canandaigua Wal-mart is well stocked.
Everything in the room was clean and tidy. There was a small burn mark (about the size of half a dime) on the blanket, but otherwise everything was great. Pillows and bed were very comfortable, and washroom was excellent, clean, and fully functional.

The hotel was very close to Canandaigua LakePosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: proximity to Canadaigua Lake
Cons: The hotel itself could use a bit of updating
Location: The Canadaigua Lake area has many fine restaurants, the lake of course, history, etc.
The hotel is very close to Canadaigua Lake and all it's area attractions. It was very affordable and the staff was pleasant. WE were particularly surprised to find a small inlet from the lake in the back of the hotel. The day we went was a cloudless calm fall day and the view was very nice despite route 5/20 right in front of the hotel. Very affordable and suited our needs. Good staff, clean and comfortable, no frills; those are in town!

Convenient location across from Wegman's!Posted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Coffee in the lobby, cleanliness.
Location: Right across from Wegman's for shopping, food at their extensive deli line, and close to a mall. Not far from the lake. On a commercial strip.
Friend and I stayed. Room is small, not adequate room for hanging clothes or long stay for two people, but otherwise just fine. Clean, quiet, reasonable, coffee in the lobby if you didn't want to make any in the room.

Should have kept on driving.Posted Oct 8, 2013
I walked in, clerk was w/an elderly man, didn't acknowledge my entrance. Another woman walked in but the clerk immediately greeted her "I'll be with you in a minute.", but still didn't acknowledge me. When it was my turn, she gave me a smelly room. When I asked for a nonsmoking room, I was told there were no other rooms available. When I complained to Expedia & asked for a refund, she found me nonsmoking room. Unfortunately, it still stank. I won't stay there again.

Pleasant Hotel in a retail areaPosted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: The price was moderate and it was clean. Front desk personel were pleasant and helpful
Cons: Pillows were hard. It felt like trying to rest your head on a blown up balloon! Modernizing the decor and the toilet would be nice.
Location: We visited vineyards and lakefront parks and drank local wines. Lots of nice (pricey) restaurants. A Denny's was near for breakfast, and Wegmans also
We chose to stay here because we wanted a moderately priced hotel in an area of some very high priced hotels. It was a litttle hard to find because the PO number wasn't recognized by our navigation system and it is located quite far in back of a car wash facility. The room was clean and quiet. The toilet only flushed when the lever was manually held down for the entire flush (5 gallons of water?) but the shower was good. I didn't see anything but coffee, perhaps tea, at a bar in the lobby.

For one night it isn't too badPosted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Friendly and courteous service.
Location: Naked Dove Brewing Company has delicious tastings. Lafayette Restaurant has delicious food. Sonnenberg Gardens are nice to spend a half day.
The bed was an old spring mattress that was hard and uncomfortable. The room was clean. Service was friendly. I guess when it comes to the accommodations, you get what you pay for.
