Centenary

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The staff, the efficiency at check out. The hotel was comfortably warm when coming in from a very cold walk around the town!!!!
Cons: As stated, on the first evening dinner we found the meal very disappointing. This led us to look for alternatives.
Location: This is covered above. Cutty Sark is a great venue. Painted hall old Royal navy building. Royal observatory. Clipper service to central London.
For the purposes of our visit this hotel was perfectly located. The hotel staff very friendly. The dinner on one night was very disappointing. The hotel is perfectly situated for those people who want to explore Greenwich and it's history. Lots to see. There is an excellent service with the Thames Clipper ferries to all stops in central London. We enjoyed our experience, and Expedia did a good job on our behalf.

Convenient to Greenwich museums

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Remove vile overpowering air freshener smell in reception lobby
Comfortable basic hotel conveniently close to Greenwich Park and museums. Also convenient to catch bus not far from hotel for the O2 and miss the crowds travelling by tube.

Great hotel perfect location

Great hotel as always. Very homely, comfortable, clean and friendly. Its right near the Cutty Sark next to the Thames. The river buses are a excellent way to travel around London, especially getting to The O2 arena. Will always use this hotel when visiting London.

Back in the nurses home!

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: Location, Friendly staff, reasonable price for a 4 star.
Location: Museums, river trips, craft market, theatre and cinema on your doorstep, walking along the river and just enjoying the atmosphere.
Conveniently located in the heart of Greenwich this stay brought back old memories of when I used to live in the building. The accommodation is naturally much grander now and I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent Staff- skimpy on the little extras

Posted Feb 23, 2015
The staff were really very good. Attentive and welcoming. Don't miss Everton for breakfast and the bar manager is excellent (From Yugoslavia and very good for a conversation and customer service). The downside was that things like shampoo and teas and coffees were inadequate. Worth a visit.

Small room with one very small window.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Location is nice and practical
Cons: At least install the TV on the wall since there is room for it and do something about the window size.
Location: You can walk to park and town easily.
Bad experience....The room is very small and has one window sized 2 feet by 2 feet. looks like a prison as shown on TV. The TV is small and sitting on a table that is 2 feet high. so when you lay down in bed you can not see the TV. bad design and bad furniture set up. the room was over looking the outdoor mechanical equipment. very bad view from a very small window. The bed is on wheels, so every time you hit by accident or sit on it it roles down toward the wwall. Overall, I felt i was in a confined space.
