We stopped at Hacienda La Pacifica on our way to the Arenal area. Room, staff and restaurant were all very nice. Fun to watch all the animals...deer, iguana and Agouti. Pool looked nice although we did not have time to swim.

Great place for vacation stop or business meeting!

Posted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: good food, interesting history, growing/raising their own food, nice room
Location: close to Canas, waterfall (just west of Bagaces, about 15 min. from hotel), national parks in the area
Owners have conference center as well as tilapia, rice and beef business. Beautiful facility between Canas and Bagaces on the PanAm hwy. Great food: tilapia and organic rice grown on the premises was excellent! Wi-Fi, good breakfast, beautiful open tiled shower, a nice spot to stop.about 30 min. SE of Liberia. Current construction on the PanAm hwy. will go to 4 lanes soon, making travel even easier.

The Tico Experience

This is a fantastic hotel with a great ambiance. I love the driftwood type furniture and the back porches. Everything was clean and worked well. I had no complaints whatsoever.

Paradies für Mücken...

Posted Jun 5, 2010
