Comfortable and clean

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Check out time is 11am. I asked for a check out at 12 noon and was asked to pay you extra $20. Sounds a bit desperate on part of the hotel if the preferance charging a customer over complete satisfaction.

Beautiful and quiet hotel.

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness, the room facilities and the comfortable bed.
Cons: Customer service was inconsistent. My first impression upon check in wasn't great - basic courtesy, no warmth but other members of staff were better.
Location: Central to Mauka and Kingston (cafes and restaurants).
The bed was super comfortable, the hotel was quiet and luxurious, resulting in a pleasant nights sleep.

Awesome!

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: The internet connection was good.
Cons: It will be good to have drapes in the living area
Location: Close to so many top quality restaurants. Also close to Coles Store. Nice walk track

Not easy to find but a good find.

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Sleek and modern; great amenities and well-informed and friendly staff.
Cons: Black carpets need to be maintained better; room service menu could have healthier options.
Location: Not the easiest place to find but close to all major landmarks as well as Manuka and Kingston for meals and shopping.
The hotel has a modern and sleek feel but it is quite dark. If you are need of natural light, this is not the place for you. Amenities and staff were exceptional.

Excellent value for money

Pros: Very modern, reasonably priced hotel fairly close to parliament and government buildings.
We stayed there for a day during our brief stay in Australia.

Quiet and comfortable

Posted Dec 31, 2014
Situated in an odd little area, surrounded by office buildings abandoned over the weekend with no shops in the surrounding blocks. But all the places to visit, as well as the beaut Manuka cafe area, are all within a short drive. Nice and quiet and if you have a car, very convenient.

Generous space in great location

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: Generous space
Cons: nothing
Location: It's centrally located so trips to all the Canberra landmarks, including the new parliament house, NGA, city centre, are short and convenient by car.
Located near the National Gallery of Australia and short distance to Manuka, Burbury Hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Canberra. The suite has large living space and separate bedroom, a kitchenette equipped with a microwave and plenty of parking space. It's perfect for short to medium term accommodation.

Very clean & comfortable; close to Parliament Hse

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable; proximity to Parliament House but also convenient to CBC or Manuka area.
Ours was a short stay in Canberra to attend a function in Parliament House. We had to return to Sydney early the next day so did not get to experience all there was to offer. Parking was convenient; we caught taxis to and from Parliament House; room was clean and comfortable.
