Historic, iconic and very good value.

Pros: The staff are wonderful, the buffet breakfast is very good. The value for money is exceptional.
Cons: The hot water in the shower/bath was a tiny bit dodgy but I would have been using the facilities in morning peak time. Not something I lost sleep over
Location: Walking distance or a very cheap taxi ride to the National and Portrait Galleries, National Library. Ditto to Kingston and Manuka shops and rest'nts.
All ways good at the Brassey. Loverly old building but totally modern hotel. Taxis only two minutes away unless Parliament is sitting. Staff are loyal to the city, building, its history and management. A work place of choice I would think. A sign of very good management.

Facilities: Old; Value: Outrageous price, Unreasonable; Service: Unhelpful, Amateur, Below average; Cleanliness: Tidy; Charged us $25/pp for a poor buffet breakfast

Nice old world hotel.

Pros: Homely feeling
Cons: Water pipe rattle in wall every time neighbouring room turned on water tap. This noise was loud enough to wake me up twice each evening of my stay.
Location: Location close to Old Parliament House and Parliament House. Good 10 minute walk to small shopping centre.
A nice venue to comeback to at the end of a day. Food was of a good standard. Staff very accommodating.
