“Nice Time”

The Avalon Grand Cancun its a small hotel compared with others; however, it has the same comfort. People are friendly and helpful. The hotel its located in the middle of the hotel zone, which gives you the opportunity to be near everything (from the mall "Isla Plaza" and "Flamingo Plaza" to the clubs "Coco Bongo" and "Hard Rock Cafe".

“Great Stay”

Everyone was helpful. The hotel was comfortable. Awesome view of the ocean from the balcony, however there was no beach to walk to directly from the hotel. Oh well, taking the bus to the public beach was part of the experience.

“Very nice place”

When I was reading the reviews of this hotel, I was definitely a bit nervous about what to expect...since so many people had complaints! I actully loved this place, the service was great, it was in a great location and was just a beautiful place. Definitely good value for the money. The only downside was the beach, but we just jumped the fence and swam down there anyways. I actully prefer smaller hotels, so this one was perfect for us. The beds are very firm, but are still comfortable. The shower takes a bit to warm up...so turn it on and leave it going for a couple of minutes.

“Nice and cosy”

“Affordable, extremely beautiful and well located”

This hotel is in the middle of the hotel zone in cancun, therefore, it is at walking distance from the main theme restaurants and best nightlive activities and centers. It is also next to two shopping plaza and in front of the beautiful beach. The rooms are extremely beautiful for the price we paid, we couldn't believe it, it also have a gorgeous front beach pool and a nice restaurant. You'll find the nicest people in cancun.

“Cozy and Convenient”

Staff was superb. A few language issues. Asked for coffee in the room and only got it on two days. Quiet hotel amid a lot of action in the area. Perfect location to enjoy all the area had to offer. I would go back!

this place was amazing they wait hand and foot on you and do not beg fr tips.. if you can go to this hotel. Although it doesnt have the various amount of activity like hotel hotels there

“Better than expected! Nice!”

Actually as we were trying to save a few $$ we were expecting a little bit less than what we found! We had a great stay, the room was nice and clean, the beach was also nice and clean, lots of nice employees giving us a very nice stay! We normally go out for breakfast at different places when we are vacationing, but this breakfast buffet was so good we kept coming back every morning and found different stuff each day! Lots of beach equipment and friendly employees helping out with setting it all up. We had no food or drinks included so we had to pay, but it was all done in a nice way running a tab with the correct stuff on it, all well done. Only single item we had trouble with was the A/C in the room kept running regardless of setting. Luckily it did turn on/off so with all cool nights we simply turned it off and was happy! To sum it up, I would like to come back to Avalon Grand Cancun, as it was a very nice stay!

“Great place”

We only stayed one night, but would have liked to have stayed longer. Our "studio" room was bigger than many rooms we have stayed in in the USA and had a beautiful balcony with a view of the ocean. The pool area was also very nice. The whole place was clean, the beds comfortable (not always our experience in Mexico) and the room service was very tasty. I would definitely stay there again.
