“Impressed by location, and friendly stuff, grate place for price”

About hotel: Is located on the north end of the Island and few blocks from El Centro ( downtown) is ideally located The Avalon Reef Club location is one of the best private Island .. unique location, beautiful beaches and reefs The Avalon Reef Club is one of the best and perfect family getaway. Staff is very nice and friendly. Hotel is relatively in the best location. Food was very basic. There is a bar with very friendly stuff.. The trip was fabulous. There is always a bartender to help you with drinks or even assist in taking pictures of you or your family . if you are looking for relaxation and comfort. or romantic place to stay. that Avalon Reef Club is the place to choose if you are looking for party. then go elsewhere,,,, When we made booking for this hotel. we chose the Avalon Reef Club based on pictures and the opportunity to stay in resort for great price. After reading reviews we had no idea that the resort is so friendly and relaxing, Sure ... few thinks should be change or improve, but like any other resort even the one with 5 stars need same improvement as well ,Don't forget Hurricane Wilma in 2005 did a lot damage. Excellent location, we did upgrade for villas and was the best choice, grate service, attitude, cleanliness, comfort,

“Awesome food, drinks & service.”

The location is perfect - on its own little island yet so close to downtown. The employees are extremely customer focused. The food was terrific, especially Mi Casa Et Su Casa restaurant. Service is wonderful - bar, restaurants, room service and maid service. Everyone goes out of their way to make you comfortable! Great beaches, pool and location. Shopping in town is wonderful and varied. Lots of little places to eat. A fantastic place!! I highly recommend it.

Nice resort, but needs to focus on maintaining recreation equipment (bicycles) and did not have complimentary use of snorkling gear.

“Just Beautiful”

This is our second visit to the hotel and Island. We stayed 8 days versus 5 days this time. We remembered the staff and they remembered us. They upgraded our room to a suite for free based upon good customer relations and Expedia's great travel arrangements. After staying in a suite, a regular room is just a regular room. We stayed from June 13 through June 21 and it was definitely too hot during this time versus the February visit. Also, there was a lot of seaweed during this time. We plan to go back again to see our island friends. We went fishing and caught barracuda's, which the natives enjoyed eating. The hotel, the accommodations were just wonderful. We love this place.

“Avalon Reef - Isla Mujeres”

The staff at the Hotel were very accomodating. The Hotel was always clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It is not centrally located to shopping and restaurants, you have to walk about 5 blocks to get to Hidalgo Avenue, but that is what we liked about it. It was away from the loud, congested parts of downtown.

“Paradise in Mexico”

Perfect quiet, secluded location. Paradise. Isla Mujeres is a small island off the coast of Cancun. But it is much more relaxing than Cancun. This is a place to get away and relax. Avalon Reef Club is on a little island off the north shore of Isla Mujeres all by itself. Has good snorkeling around the hotel. Our cottage had a nice deck on the ocean side and we could here the waves from the bed. Walking distance to all the restaurants. Rented a golf cart to tour the island. Great relaxing vacation.

“Best hotel on isla mujerus”

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to go this is it. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and a pretty good place to snorkle.

This resort was the absolute best honeymoon spot. We stayed with the all inclusive package and the service, food, activities were all excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their to fulfill all of our wants. The view, island were an incredible atmosphere of serenity and culture. We will definitely go back!!!Soon I hope.
