Isla Mujeres ParadisePosted May 1, 2015
Pros: I enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, as well as the close proximity to the center of town, you could rent golf carts on site which was great
Cons: For the cost and location it is great
Location: Yes very close to beach shopping and food
We arrived on the island in the early afternoon and found a taxi to take us to the hotel, the staff was friendly warm and helpful. The proximity to the beach was great just steps from our room, the beach was clean and the water beautiful, the bar and restaurant were very accommodating, they have a continental that is meager but ordering from the menu we found to be very inexpensive and delicious , the location is ideal, a short walk from the center of town.

Very bad experiencePosted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: the location was great.
Cons: Clean the room and renovate the bathroom.
I am very disappointed with the hotel cleanliness. the room was full of mosquitoes and cockroach. unfortunately we had to leave the room since we couldn't sleep in those conditions. it was really deceiving to arrive to a place that we thought we were able to sleep and enjoy with no trouble. we had no choice to leave the same day and book an hotel locally were we finally enjoyed and appreciate our vacation. I don't recommend this hotel unless you are ok to sleep in a dirty environment.

Wonderful simple hotel on a lovely islandPosted Apr 22, 2015
We stayed here for a week and loved the place. We had a cabana by the pool and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and simple. If you are looking for the 4 seasons go elsewhere, but if you are looking for a simple room in the perfect location then book this hotel now...

Basic Hotel - Great Beach LocationPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: Location and relaxed atmosphere and price
Cons: Decor/ bathrooms /Size of rooms
Location: beautiful beach - hire golf buggies 600 pesos for 24 hours and explore the island.great restaurants - Brisas /Roosters/etc - if you love fish
I booked 3 rooms - our room was booked for 2 adults and a 15 yr old. The room was v small - I banged my knee on the bed. Shower /bathroom v small.Taps too close to basin could nt wash my face! no plug. no spaces for suitcase- didnt fit under bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Cups chipped. very 70's.. but was good for the price and had a partial sea-view. The other rooms were a bit dark . I would recommend if youre not bothered about dec. or and need value for money.Breakfast tea/coffee toast and juice at Buhas bar/restaurant - nice relaxed atmosphere- swings/hammocks & on the beach which was beautiful

Great location, Awesome ViewPosted Apr 2, 2015
Pros: The BEAUTIFUL beach. Great location. Bartenders who work very hard to keep your drinks coming.
Cons: The beds. Not very comfortable.
Location: Amazing beach. Very short walk into town. So you were close to everything you needed. The hotel also has goldf carts you can rent.
The hotel was a basic hotel and fit all of our needs for our 10 day stay. We had a great room with an even better view. It was super close to the beach with a beach bar that had the sweetest bartenders. The only thing we had to say was the bed was a little uncomfortable. But the beautiful beach made up for that. Our side of the island was probably the calmest beach from what we saw. It was right on the beach and close enough for a short walk into town. We had a balcony facing the street with the beach to the right, an amazing morning view. And a 10 second walk to the beach where you saw some beautiful sunsets. We rented golf carts to tour the island and hit up some great spots and went zip linning at one of the Dolphin Discovery spots. Great vacation will definitely return.

Relaxing VacationPosted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: Location to beach.
Cons: Staff at restraurant. They do not seem happy.
Location: The beach is beautiful and is kept clean. You can walk to town within minutes or catch a cab. Touring the island in a golf cart is so fun.
Very traditional family style hotel. Staff tries to please your request.
