Pleasant but could use some updating and could do a bigger buffet... More choices! Would be great... But overall it was a wonderful stay.

Everything You Need

Pros: Very comforting room and friendly staff.
Cons: More variety of food in reserved restaurants.
Location: They have a booth out by the pool with different activities to do. Airport is close by
Stayed four nights for our honeymoon. It seemed like a family resort online but it felt different on site. They have an adults only pool, dining restaurant, bar, and even buffet section. The resort is very big and maybe that's why it didn't feel so crowded. Beach view was great and big for having chairs and bar next to the beach. A lot of activities also go on in this resort. Only Con was the hassle of having to reserve for a restaurant. We had outside activities so maybe that's why it felt like that (reservations are made a day in advance). We took more advantage of the buffets. When we did make it to a reserved restaurant there were not to many options to choose from, but the food was very good.

Great beach and pools!

Pros: The beach and the pools.
Cons: The towel system doesn't work. Need a better solution.
This was our third time in Cancun and first time staying at Crown Paradise. We would come back again. The staff was great. The beach is very nice, and we, especially the kids, loved the pools. The food was good, but making reservations for dinner at their restaurants were a pain. The hotel and our room were clean. Wish our room and the bathroom were bigger. Our only complaint is their towel system. You get a towel card to exchange for a towel when you're at the pool, but someone either accidentally or deliberately took our towel, and we couldn't get another one. In order to get another towel card, you would have to go to the front desk and pay an extra $35. The last thing you would want to do while you're on vacation is to worry about other people taking your towel. Other than that, I would highly recommend this resort.

Where do I start when we first got there we were aproched by a worker asking us if we wanted water we said yes the water never came. At check in they didn't have our room they blamed it on Expedia for over booking us. So they gave us a room that was really old and not that great we had to switch room the following day what an inconvinience. I asked room service twice to leave more towels and water and that's didn't happen. One night we had reservations to one of the restaurants Los gallos we missed our time we tried to go and see if they would still take us the guy said go get ready come back down and I'll see what I can do, so we did and got turned away cause there were no more tables when I looked in the restaurant there were a lot of open tables. At the front desk for some reason evey single time I would go up there they wouldn't give you their full attention they would always start talking amongst themselves. I'm sorry but costumer service is a huge deal to me and I was disappointed.

Pros: The service was the only thing nice about this hotel.
Cons: cleaner rooms.
Location: Airport was near but it was a hike to get to downtown.
I was very disappointed in this hotel. The hotel was in need of immediate repairs. The bathrooms smelled like they mold. I will never go back to this hotel or even consider recommending it to anyone. Take your money somewhere else.

Excellent place for the family!

Pros: BBQ by the pool and activities for the kids.
Cons: Too many birds by eating area.
We loved our trip to Crown Paradise. It was the perfect place for the entire family. Staff was nice, lots of activities for the kids. Food was great all you can eat! The view from our room was awesome and we were given a free upgrade. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great vacation with their family.

Nice hotel terrible food

Nice hotel but no wi-fi :( ,those glass windows on the public areas make the hotel supper hot!!;( the palapa for dinner looks dated and the food was horrible ,the whole hotel looks dated ,I Will not recommend to my friends

Get what you pay for

Pros: The grounds very pretty
Cons: Hotel ROOMS & Air Condition
Location: Pirate Dinner & Swimming W/ Dolphins fun
Rooms very very outdated, dingy and dirty looking. Air was not working great, TV never really worked for the kids (which was ok). Buffet same every night basically and air condition in the buffet hall was non existent which was not pleasant at all. Oh and a child went #2 in the pool and it took someone over 30 mis to come and clean and all they did was scoop it out - YUCK

Good family resort for all ages of kids

Pros: Great staff. The bartenders and waiters were so nice and attentive. A few of the restaurants were really good as well.
Location: Reservations at the restaurants are difficult to make if you have a tour lasting all day - we missed out because of this.
We have 2 sets of kids: older (23 and 20 ) and younger (10 and 8). We needed to find a hotel that provided accommodations and activities for both sets and for us. We were pleased with Crown Paradise Club. The Kids Club is secure and fun, and we were able to head to the adult pool for a while with no worries. Our kids enjoyed the regular poolside activities as well. If you have kids of any age, this is a good choice. If you are looking for more of an adult style resort, I would not recommend it. It is definitely more of a family place which is what we wanted!

I had a bad experience at this hotel , the place is really old and it needs reconditioning we had to be moved to a new room because of a water leak, the beds are rock hard not a good place to rest
