Great place all over!Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: It was close to the beach and ocean. All of your employees were absolute wonders, and were so personable and nice!
Cons: ---I really don't know!
Location: Your place is within walking distance to all that we wanted to do--and we needed the exercise-lol!
This was our first trip to Cancun, and it was breathtaking! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversay with our two sons and their wives! Everything was wonderful!

Beautiful Resort, GREAT location!Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: LOCATION, food, interactive staff, beautiful beach
Cons: Nothing major!
Location: Close to the town center with the clubs and markets, also close to a shopping mall, ferry ride to Isla Mujeres and restaurants
I went with my friend during our spring break and we had a great time! The resort was definitely geared towards families and couples, but we still had so much fun! The town center with the clubs and market place is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and 5 minutes in the other direction are a lot of restaurants and a shopping mall. There are two beaches with a big area for swimming and plenty of chairs. The food was amazing, and there were so many options that it was difficult to choose where to eat, but we loved Himitsu. Our room was great, housekeeping came twice a day and we never felt like we needed anything. The staff is SOO friendly and interactive with the guests. The pool is small and the swim up bar is not very good, but we stayed by the beach and there were waiters who brought us drinks directly! Also, there is always something to do during the day and night, like volleyball, zumba, comedy shows, cooking classes, yoga and anything you can think of! We had such a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great resort with easy beach accessPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Food, Spa, Beach access, Friendly staff
Cons: No complaints at all.
Location: We booked trips throughout AmStar in the resort. Snorkeling was great! Cancun Strip is very close. Senior Frogs was turisty but very fun.
Stayed at Dreams with my wife for five days. We both loved the resort and its employees. Everyone was extremely nice and staff worked hard to make sure we were satisfied. We had a dolphin deluxe room and had no complaints. Dolphins make noise at night but it didnt bother us at all. Food at all restaurants was great and we really enjoyed the Polarmo Bonito (sp?) restaurant that was next door to the resort. Beachs were great and beverage service was perfect. They would accomodate any drink order and we never had a bad cocktail. My wife and I did a couples massage on the beach and it was fantastic. The staff in the spa were excellent and the spa itself was great. Take advantage of additional time for hot tub, sauna and steam room before your massage. The resort is also a five minute walk to the Cancun strip for bars, shopping and food. We ventured out several times and had a blast. I would recommend this resort to anyone and cannot say enough nice things and the grounds and staff! I cannot imagine staying anywhere close to as nice as Dreams for the price.

Dollar for dollarPosted Mar 7, 2014
This place pales in comparison to the other all inclusive resorts in cancun. We've stayed at Iberostar most recently and dollar for dollar that place couldn't compare. The staff wasn't as hospitable and the food options were somewhat limited. Traveling with kids you need more than hotdogs as options-BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER

Great location with calm watersPosted Mar 5, 2014
Fabulous vacation for the whole family. Close to shopping and night life. Great programs and entertainment provided. Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Hotel needs renovation. Rooms and washrooms have an old appearance.

Beach was amazing...butPosted Mar 4, 2014
Food was not good at all, very cheap quality. Staff didn't always seem willing to help or happy to serve, almost inconviened. Pool is small and swim up bar is covered so not direct sun rays. Beach was great and the dolphin experience is really fun.

Great Hotel and Vacation!Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Great staff! Beautiful and clean beaches. Nice variety of restaurants included. Very clean.
Cons: Better sound proofing on the rooms.
Location: We ate one night at Hard Rock Cafe and went to Senior Frogs twice. Also went to the flea market and zip lining and ATV riding.
I just spent 9 days and 8 nights at Dreams Cancun and loved everything about it. The staff was always happy and nice. The beach has the most incredible sand and view, and although it was crowded, we were always able to find a seat. They have a lot of activities going on throughout the day and evening. The food was good, although we had 2 favorite restaurants (part of the all inclusive) that we generally went back to. The hotel is walking distance from Coco Bongo and the happening bar area which was great. Our only complaint would be that we were so excited when we got there because we had this great room with a view of the pool, beach and dolphins. We had no idea how loudly dolphins smack their tails on top of the water until the middle of the first night and every other night. We were woken up by them numerous times throughout the night. Other than that, I would say that everything was great at The Dreams Cancun and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Great staff, rooms a little jankyPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: the food the beach the servers and staff
Cons: the rooms the hotel policy for inconveniencing guest the hotel's ability to not overbook rooms
We really loved our stay at this hotel(don't get me wrong) the staff was wonderful and friendly, the food was much better than expected and the beaches and pools were really nice. We had 2 issues. 1. We booked a king room and when we got there one wasn't available and we had to sleep in a room with two double beds for the first night. This is not such a big deal, but this added inconvenience meant that we weren't REALLY on vacation since we had to pack our stuff and leave it at the desk and then move into another room. Since this was their mistake I felt like something should have been offered to make up for it. That lack of hospitality was kind of a bummer. The second issue was the rooms. The rooms were beat up! The second room we got had a broken air conditioner. They came up right away to fix it but it never really worked on high. It was fine but pretty disappointing. On the last night we were there the water was dripping so bad from the ac that the ceiling around the ac unit was soft and wet and was clearly about to cave in. All in all (since we spent most of our time eating and on the beach drinking) we had a great time!
