Loved, loved, LOVED this resort! The people are incredible, the resort is private, the food is incredible and they don't skimp on alcohol! I cannot express how impressed I was with this resort, except I can't wait to go back next year!

Due to wait times, we had to take a beeper at some restaurants. But this allowed us to sample other restaurants for appetizers or drinks.

Five star and All Inclusive. Top Quality resort. Just returned from 2nd trip to Excellence Play Mujures in 2 years. It looks just like or better than the hotel photos. Food was gourmet. Service was outstanding. Cleanliness was perfect. More busy this year than last but still no change in service and no waits for anything we wanted. Don't listen to any of the complainers because there is no reason on earth you wouldn't be more than satisfied with your stay UNLESS you want to set in your mind to be cranky no matter what. Go and have a great time.

Was the best vacation ever.. First time to go to an all inclusive resort. Was very relaxing and did not have to worry about a thing. Staff all were friendly and made our vacation enjoyable..

“Excellence Playa Mujeres”

We had a great experience! The staff members were all so warm, welcoming and professional in all encounters. The pool/beach landscape, seating and ambiance were so wonderful. We truly felt we were in paradise! The food was fine. The buffets at Barcelona ended up impressing us the most (even though we had low expectations.) There was a Mexican fiesta in the courtyard that was delicious and festive! We will definitely go back.

Me and my wife were on our honeymoon and this resort really took care of us. The staff there were very professional. Our favorite waiters name was Victor, and he really helped make our stay there special.

This place was amazing!! All adults, no screaming kids or youngsters. Great drinks amazing food, crazy good 24 hour room service. Beautiful resort, incredible room, great pools, great restaurants, welcoming helpful staff. We would go back to this place for every vacation. Close to airport and a true all inclusive with no con job up charges. This place was 100% gorgeous. I would be hard pressed to find one flaw. You must check it out.

“Just what the doctor ordered!!”

This being my wife & I's 10th anniversary, I was looking for something special and we found it!! We just wanted a place we could relax and enjoy each others company. This resort is a little more mature, but still a mixed aged crowd and not for the HUGE party goers. You do have the option to leave the resort if you want a BIGGER night life, but we found the evening shows at the resort enough. Martini Bar a must. Just ask for Jorge. Great bartender and very entertaining. Food and drinks were good to great. The bartenders and all the other staff were outstanding!!!! Beach was clean and there was plenty of areas to set up camp and bake in the sun. We had a room that allowed us the walk right out the the lazy river from our porch!! Highly recommend you have these rooms. They have an outside bed to relax on as well. We will be back next yr for sure!!

“Very happy”

The hotel is just very, very beautiful and clean and the service is very high quality. The pools and hammocks and lounging beds in the sun are amazing and there's plenty of room for everyone. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy some romance, this is definitely a resort I would recommend. The food is average, but you're so happy with everything else, it doesn't detract from your stay (and the drinks are great). The rooms are large, romantic and cozy, and the spa massages are really fabulous. I would recommend the stresscure massage.
