Excellent Hotel with great pool close to the beachPosted Mar 12, 2014
Loved the layout of the Hotel. The pool is right next to the beach which makes it very easy to switch between them. The kids loved the pool and the beach was very useable

Nice hotel close to the beach.Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: The pool, the pleasant staff, and how well-maintained the property is. We would stay at this hotel again.
Cons: King and/or Queen Size beds available. To move to a room with a King Size bed would have been an extra $150 upgrade fee, which was disappointing.
Location: Very close to the beach and to many other shops and eating establishments.
Very nice hotel close the beach. The property is well maintained. It has an excellent and very large pool! The only thing we wished they had was King and/or Queen size beds available as part of the package. Otherwise, the room was very nice.

Dreamy VacationPosted Mar 10, 2014
I booked this hotel Because Of The 5 Star Rating And The Pictures Seemed To Be stunning. When we arrived in Cancun and the taxi driver was telling us about the area we were getting excited when we were told that our hotel was rated a 4 diamonds and that really good hotels were rated diamonds and that there were on a few that got those ratings. Well let me tell you. This hotel was built in the 80's and it lived up to everyone of those diamonds. It looked like it had just been built last year. The food the room and the view!!!! I've traveled a lot and this hotel was at the top of my list! Everyone was friendly and when I had one concern about a small party going on in a room next to me that was very loud late at night they were very prompt in taking care of it. Oh yeah....The spa is the most beautiful experience that I have seen. Must go!

Great hotel with excellent servicePosted Mar 10, 2014
Very nice hotel. We booked the VIP package which gave us a room on the 10th floor with great ocean view. In addition to that, it gave us access to the grand club on the 12th floor which provides breakfast, lunch and dinner - perfect meal size and variety since we do not eat a lot and we are pretty picky on what we eat. Also, it is great for family with kids where you can eat on the 12th floor without bothering other people. The only thing is that the table is kind of small so it cannot hold all the dishes we got. The room is nice and clean. What attracted us the most is the service - all the people are so nice and work so hard. We will recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice first class hotel, meets expectations.Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Location, staff friendliness
Cons: Drink prices. Ground transportation within local destinations.
Location: Close to bar and club scene, but far enough if you desire peace and quite.
Stayed at F.A. for 6 nights. Very pleasing experience with everything being first class. Be prepared to pay dollar for food and drinks. Although well worth it considering quality. We especially liked Spa dinner, and French restaurant. A good mix of crowd demographic wise, without the routy spring breaker crowd. Close to the nightlife scene and outside dinning.

Great hotel on a calm beach in CancunPosted Mar 9, 2014
This was our fifth visit to this hotel in 16 years. Many upgrades have been made over the past few years in the hotel and menus at the restaurants. Staff is very attentive and friendly.

Great 5 Star Hotel. Premium location.Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Room, breakfast,
Cons: More details about the Front Ocean View and Ocean View. Also, detail about East and West Towers.
Location: Night life just around the corner, dance floors, restaurants and bars. Ferry to Isla Mujeres, very convenient bus transportation, ADO is great.
Fiesta Americana Grand Coral is 5 Star hotel. Location of the hotel is very convenient, close to shops and restaurants, ferry to Isla Mujeres, down town transportation. Staff did a great job by accommodating from the 1st Front Ocean to Ocean View. Well, here is advice to management please add additional explanation about the difference between Front Ocean View and Ocean view. Please explain that Front View is 1st floor rooms only so that you can see palms, playgrounds, pools. Any room higher than 3rd floor is ocean view-very great rooms. There’re 2 Towers East and West. By booking suite closer to Dreams you can see dolphins. The higher the room the better view, I would say book the room at least on the 5th floor and up. In the morning view is fantastic, you can see Isla Mujeres, azul water, and feel fresh breeze enjoying canine style close encounter. Beach is clean and water is calm enough to swim, depth is satisfactory closer to the buoys it is deep about 10-15 feet. Breakfast is great, chefs are very professional, especially ladies who were cooking eggs and tacos. Service is 5 star hotel no doubt about it. Thank you very much. Recommend!
