The location and place is nice. The staffs were very cooperative. I had requested late checkout after 11 pm and the front desk was able to schedule it. I recommend this facility.

Clean rooms, good pool and beach. La Palapa has good food. Everything is expensive but they had happy hours where drinks were two for one. None will taste like they have alcohol. They’ll try to get you to come to a timeshare presentation every single day and will follow you and try to stop you for it every time you step off the elevator. Take the stairs, they don’t go there. One of the men who takes luggage at the door is rude and will not leave your room when he brings the bags unless you give him a tip in US dollars. I was alone when it happened and very uncomfortable. ALWAYS get a receipt for anything you get there, multiple people were charged for food and drinks they didn’t order at the bikini bar. The staff speaks English. It helps immensely if you speak Spanish because then you’ll know when they’re talking about you. I heard them my entire stay talking about others. Attitudes and prices change when you speak Spanish and we received better service at the pool and because than others who were bilingual. Rafaella at La Palapa was wonderful, ask for her to be your server. They have a bat problem. We found feces every morning and a dead rat once. They are aware of the problem. The bats are directly above room 345, so 245, 445 and 545 likely have bat feces every morning as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was very casual, well maintained, and really comfortable room. However on vacation you want to enjoy your stay and not be asked to sign up for memberships and buy into the properties.

The building is old, but the staff was very helpful and gave us a spacious room since we had several small children. As for the facilities, the free laundry, pool, small park and game space were nice. The rooms were old, but spacious and the kitchen was perfect and convenient. The location was good, and it was fun to be able to walk to the nearby shopping facilities. If I had one complaint, it would be the noise from the hotel next door to the east. I would like to return, but I would like to stay in a room on a different side.

They lack the hospitality, especially the restaurants. We waited three days for lounges to be brought to our balcony. We waited and had to remind them we were short on towels. The price on their menus is so expensive!

I was not impressed.. it smelled a lil musky. Seemed a lil cheap compared to others . Nice pool kids loved it. Staff was super nice .we had food by the pool and it was really good. Left purse in hotel when I checked out I came back once I realized and they had it safe for me. Very honest workers . Honestly if they remodeled I would be back .

We had a great stay, with a view of the ocean. The hotel is clean and safe. Beautiful beach and the swimming area was calm, clear, crystal blue, kid friendly, and the perfect temperature to stay in all day! It was a bit sheltered so it was easy to swim in with less waves. The food was good and had vegetarian options. The staff were lovely and always ready to help. The bathrooms were my only setback one was hard to get in and out of due to where the glass door was placed and a bit dated. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Even though, they had rooms for upgrade, they did not offer it to us at all. It seems like they didn't care if we are gold member of Expedia. However, a staff offered a upgrade, if we take our time to listen to some kind of offer. we had a time, so we agreed. Then the hotel had upgraded us to a large room which was really nice. Conclusion, even though, the hotel had rooms to upgrade, they did not offer to it to us at all. We are not going back to the hotel because of its dishonesty.

Beautiful beach and our unit had a view of the ocean with balcony. Staff were friendly. Facilities has aged and some things need repair. However, still a great place and location. Would recommend to someone who wants to enjoy beach and pool without expecting anything fancy. We cooked our own food and grocery store is nearby.

As usual Fiesta Americana Villas was amazing. The staff are highly attentive and make us feel welcome and at home. Any concerns we had with the room were taken care of immediately and professionally. Beach service was fantastic with Rafaella leading the charge and Jorge doing a fantastic job at the bikini bar. The bellmen Vicente, Rodrigo, and Oscar are amazing and can take care of anything you need. This staff is the reason we have been coming to this hotel for almost ten years now.

This was our first time here and enjoyed it ..its quiet and pretty only thing is the beach access its beautiful but u cant just walk in there are steps to go into the ocean but besides that everything was perfect

As clean as it gets in Cancun. Older property but absolutely everything within a walk! Grocery, nightlife, beautiful beaches! Highly recommend for the price point. You can’t beat the service of the local peoples! Cancun is all about selling you something so it is no knock on this establishment. They all do it here. Get used to that every time you step on the street.

Beach access and quality were very good. Water was clear. Geography shielded this area, reducing the size of the waves driven by prevailing winds. The Palapa restaurant had good quality and variety. Prices have increased by far more than the change in exchange rate. The buffet breakfast was especially expensive at $35 USD per person.

Property is badly maintained. Broken tap, cabinets, and really make it feel like 2 star . Nice pool was the only plus.

the staff was amazing, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The beach is the best, white sand, clear water and NO seaweed, we can t wait to go back again next year

Perfect vacation spot for families! The suite was clean, had everything we needed in its kitchen for a long stay, the pool and ocean were beautiful. I don’t usually eat at the hotel restaurant, but the meals were unique and delicious. The service there was excellent!
