Very nice cosy hotel, good beach for swimmingPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Though there is no sand beach and the access to the ocean is a little rough the swimming was good. The bedding very confortable, maids very nice ,clean
Cons: Music at the pool area was sometimes too loud and hip hop. Could have another restaurant only one available, and more channels for strangers on the TV
Location: It is central near buses that will take you anywhere you want for 9.50 pesos ( $1 )
Our room was confortable, nice view on the ocean, with the promised appliances. One problem was the door that would communicate with the next room (if needed). We could hear the customers next door and sometimes they were very loud and came back to their room at 4.00 even 5.00 in the morning drunk and yelling like if it was daytime. During all our three weeks they were doing some renovations on the roof and there was dust and debris on the balcony and the workers started at 8.00 a.m. It is a vacation club and more appropriate for young people than for old age.

Good place to stay!Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Smaller hotel, easy to find places on the beach or at the pool. It is not over crowded like the bigger places. On the beach they have everything.
Cons: Little older hotel, but for the price and the view from most rooms it is worth it.
Location: It is easy to walk to shopping, entertainment and places to eat.
The first room they gave us was on the bottom floor and right outside the kids area. We asked for a different room and got on the 4th floor with a much better view.

Nice hotel, close to the beachPosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Clean, spacious room. Friendly staff, but concierges are more focused on selling vacation club memberships than helping you book activities.
Cons: Improve the restaurant menu.
It's a nice hotel close to the beach. We stayed in a junior suite; it was pretty much exactly what we wanted - spacious and versatile, but not too fancy. It was just like a little apartment. The hotel staff are nice and friendly. Bear in mind that the concierge will approach you to pitch the hotel's vacation club - their alternative to a time share - but it isn't pushy. But that's where use of the hotel's other amenities is important. You have to be a vacation club member to use them. The hotel restaurant is passable, but the menu is pretty basic and could really use a few more options. Didn't use the pool, but did make use of the hot tub, which was often lukewarm. We had to ask the staff to turn it up. I would stay here again. It's clean and safe, just not as fancy as some of its neighbors.

Decent hotel for the price.Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: The beach, pool and restaurant were never crowded. We were always able to get beach chairs and be seated immediately at the restaurant which was nice
Cons: There is only 1 restaurant on the property which is expensive compared to local restaurants. Wi-fi was iffy.
Location: Near the mall, flea market and night clubs.
Inexpensive hotel with decent accommodations. Wi-fi signal was weak at times.

Close to everything, the beach and nighttime.Posted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Service, location and size.
Cons: Since this is really a vacation club, the bathroom in our room looked a bit tired.
Location: Everything is nearby.
Perfectly sized to feel at home and enjoy all the amenities. Very pleasant architecture, unlike the monstrosities built by American hotel chains. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. In general I prefer small hotels to 5 star luxuries, something that would be impossible to find in Cancun, but this was a good compromise.

Just returned from a week stay.Posted Feb 24, 2014
Nice location. Good beach. Doesn't offer some amenities you would expect such as menus from local restaurants, lobby computer or info about local attractions. Concierge was of no help. Room was clean but needed some repairs to bathroom. This hotel needs to change how it describes itself. It is a vacation rental property. Luckily my husband and I knew our way around cancun because we have been there before but a first time traveler to cancun would be disappointed by the fact that they do not provide you with helpful info as you would expect from a hotel. You are basically on your own if you stay here so bring a good guidebook as a resource.

Great hotel. Awful desk staff.Posted Feb 15, 2014
I had an unanticipated delay and had to stay in Cancun for one night only. (the rest of my vacation was spent on Isla Mujeres. It's amazing. Go there!) I got on Expedia and quickly booked a room here - the pictures looked great and the price was right. I waited until I got my email confirmation and then proceeded to the lobby. When I walked in to the hotel, the desk person acted annoyed that I was bothering him to check in. I gave my name and he couldn't find my reservation - he then tried to tell me that a one night stay would be $300 and not the $150 I booked it for. I showed him my Expedia confirmation email and he had me forward it to him at the hotel address. I thought that would be sufficient but he then called for a second desk person to come look at the reservation. After rolling her eyes, she proceeded to look for the reservation and then she also asked for the confirmation email. I understand it's frustrating when you can't find the reservation, but it's not necessary to be rude about it. Anyway - I got a room key and after my dealings with the desk were over, the rest of my stay was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the beach. The air conditioning worked great, the water pressure was awesome, and the bed was super soft and cozy. The hotel is also close to Casa Tequila - an awesome and well priced restaurant with delicious food and great beers.
