Amazing vacation

Posted Mar 2, 2015
My fiancé and I vacationed at the flamingo for my birthday and from the moment we arrived everything was above par. From a champagne arrival to an upgraded oceanfront room, the staff went above and beyond. The beach restaurant even made a special cake and sang happy birthday which was a sweet little treat. I could go on and on, everything was just perfect from the staff, the room, the food and to the stay itself- I would recommend the flamingo to anyone and everyone!!

This made our 8th stay and we just love it at the

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: The closeness to the beach and etc.
Cons: The noon and evening meals
Location: Outback and Bubba Gumps but we did miss Margaretta Ville as we liked their food
Good, I had paid for a Jr. Suite and didn't realize they were on 1st floor and we wanted to be on 2nd by the pool so they let us have that with a ref in the room.

Location, Staff, Beach Great

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: I have been to Cancun many times and never have had Hotel Staff put their hand on their heart when they greeted me. Nice touch.
Cons: Wifi
Location: Small mall across the street, and fabulous Isla shopping mall less than a half mile down the road,
Ok so there were a few issues with hot water and the wifi was sketchy, but the location is wonderful, the staff was very accommodating and the price was reasonable. The room was very clean. We did not buy the all inclusive package, so we ate else where and can't comment on the food.

Greatest Vacation Ever

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The staff is fantastic, very friendly and willing to interact at any level you wish. The view of the beach and the ease of the street access.
Cons: They could be more informational about what is available and where everything is when you first arrive, it took us a while to find a few things.
Location: It is well located in Cancun, close to shopping and restaurants. There are tons of things to do on tours, ancient ruins, snorkeling, zip lines, etc...
This trip was booked as a vacation and ended up being a honeymoon. I have been living with my girlfriend for a couple of years and decided to take her to Cancun on a little vacation for her birthday. Well right after I booked the trip we decided to get married, which turned the vacation into a honeymoon and birthday celebration combination. Over the past 20 years I have been to Cancun 14 times and have stayed in some of the nicest 5 and 4 star resorts available in the area. A friend of mine goes to Cancun a couple of times a year and told me about The Flamingo. If you are looking for a 5 star where they wait on you hand and foot, this is not the place for you to go. If you want a wonderful hotel with excellent access to one of the most beautiful beaches in Cancun with palm trees, this should be your destination. Our room was at ground level with the beach and we could look out of our room every morning and enjoy the sunrise if we chose to open our curtains or we could leave them closed and not even know that the sun had risen yet. The room was one of the nicest and roomiest I have ever stayed in short of being in a casita or multiple room suite. My wife was thoroughly impressed at my choice of hotels, to her everything was perfect. The bathroom was exceptionally roomy with plenty or room to place your toiletries without have to put them away and get them out all of the time. The staff is fantastic, food decent, and the facilities are well kept up and clean. Loved it.

Great Location and Food

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: There are two pools available--one more quiet for reading etc. There are also lounge chairs available on the beach. The hotel staff is very friendly
Cons: The water pressure isn't as good on the lower level floors compared to rooms on the third floor and up.
Location: Outback restaurant and the Flamingo Mall is right across the street. Tucan restaurant is just a block away and Lemoncello's about a block away good.
This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at this hotel. The prices are reasonable and the location is ideal and close to restaurants within walking distance. The flea market and downtown area is just a quick bus ride away. The "Albatross Restaurant" takes reservations in the morning for the evening dinner hour and there is a good selection of seafood, pasta, and steak. The buffet restaurant offers a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a snack bar by the pool for hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos, fries etc. Met many people from USA, Canada, and Europe that have been visiting for 5 or more years.

Huoneen vaihto "parempaan"

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Hotellihuoneiden kunto on perustasoa ilman erityisiä mukavuuksia.

Great vacation

Posted Feb 8, 2015
This is my 8th time staying here and always treated great. I like that this is a smaller family oriented hotel not some gigantic hotel with no personalty. Ive met and became friends with guests and employees over the years and its always great to go back and get together again year after year.
