Muito bom

Posted Jan 30, 2015

Pros: Staff is really friendly and helpful. Good prices We had a 6th floor room with beach view.
Cons: The lay out of the hotel is kind of windy.
Location: Walking distance to La Isla shopping center
We had lodging only but we ate a couple of times at the restaurant Albatros. Nice and cozy on the beach. Goof food and nice service.

It was a terrible experience Staff is friendly but they didn't refill our bar soap for 3 days until asked for. The rooms need a humidifier they are always way too much humidity. The ceramic tiles and the bed sheets always feel wet. Cancun itself is gorgeous and a must visit on everyone's list.

Nice beach location, all inclusive food has issues

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Location on the beach. Still a cab or bus ride to Coco Bongo area. Long walk, wouldn't recommend doing that. The one pool overlooking the beach.
Cons: Updating! Toilets, faucets, showers, mattresses, pillows, more pico de gayo vs none at all. How about fresh oranges or bananas?
Location: Not much right there to do. Everything is a cab/bus ride away.
This was our 4th visit to Cancun. We previously stayed at the RIU Cancun. The Flamingo had a great beach with sandbar. But the areas that the Flamingo fell short was first in the room. We had two rooms side by side. Both rooms had the worst hardest beds, mattress' from the 1960's, and terrible pillows. Our toilet overflowed on day one and ran constantly. The room card readers didn't work daily and we had to get new cards daily and repair men working every other day on them. Things seemed to disappear as well such as a packet of Oreo cookies we bought. We locked everything of value in the room safe which was nice. The all inclusive food was basically the same every day. Rice and chicken. We walked to the RIU to see the difference and for lunch they had a large hibachi grill of fresh shrimp grilling, but there were hundreds of people there and not a free sun chair in sight. So the Flamingo was empty and we in a way had the place to ourselves which was nice. But they starve you inbetween the feedings. No snacks or anything. We went next door to the Hyatt Zilara and it was amazing. Bottles of Absolute just laying around, chips and salsa every hour of the day. We had nothing like that. So if you are looking for a budget stay with a nice beach then this is good, but I would spend more for the Hyatt Zilara that had live bands, fireworks, unlimited pools, better all inclusive etc. But that's an adults only resort and we had two kids. Very nice hotel staff though.

最高のホテル!

Posted Jan 24, 2015

Nice but small

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Things I liked Good food ,nice variety Friendly staff Very clean, the room, pools, beach, beach towels available Did not like Drinks, very limited, low end brands of alcohol Very few English speaking tourists so staff had limited English but were friendly Very limited shade. Almost none at the pools and very few umbrellas on the beach. Not good for someone who cannot be out in the sun for hours at a time It was not the fault of the hotel but I booked and paid for an ocean front room through Expedia. Instead, I got a room on the top floor that needed a key card to access, with a private lounge. The private lounge was an 8X10 room with a computer that did not work. My view was the mall across the street. They said they could not move me to a lower floor with an oceanfront room because this was booked trough Expedia so I had to pay extra for the oceanfront room in addition to what I paid for the "private lounge".

Excellent location! Great for price!

Posted Jan 21, 2015
This was a prefect location. Staff was friendly & very respectful! Hotel manager could've been a little better in offering upgrades. I feel he didn't because we didn't get all inclusive. We went to celebrate our honeymoon & daughters 15th birthday! After telling manger what we were there for he stated I should've put it on the website so they could've done something special so because I didn't they didn't do anything. Cancun overall is beautiful and weather couldn't have been more perfect!

Excellent Experience

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Cons: More beach chairs, hotter hot tub.
Location: go to Chichen Itza
They have a private beach (get there early, not enough chairs for all), two pools, a whirlpool and lots of on-site cabanas. Buffet was excellent every night, Albatross was less good but had good meat. Enjoyable experience.
