At least it has a nice beach...Posted Apr 24, 2015
Cons: better host girls, all rude to females, better bartenders that won't give you a stressful look when asking for a drink (even with tips in hand),buffet
Location: slept the entire time to make time go by faster.. wouldn't return
Rude staff, awful food(coming from somebody who likes KD for dinner), only the beach was enjoyable.. however ALACARTE meals weren't so bad, especially the one for lunch by the beach, rude host but servers are great.

Very nice hotel on beachPosted Apr 20, 2015
Family of 4 (with 2 teenage boys) enjoyed relaxing week together. Loved the beach and pools. Food was good and plenty of options to keep everyone happy.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great restaurants..Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Liked the ease with which you could pace your daily activities. You have full access to the restaurants in Royal Solaris next door. Very clean beach.
Cons: For such a big resort, staff could be motivated to speak more languages other than spanish.
Location: There are many tours that are arranged by the travel desk. You can also take the local bus to downtown. The bus stop is just outside the hotel resor
We just returned from a 5day stay (all inclusive) at the GR Caribe by Solaris in Cancun. Like all hotels, this too faces the sea. Clean beaches, plenty lounging chairs, great sevice. We were most impressed with all staff trying their best to make you comfortable. The Bocavante (sea facing) and Veneto (dress code, only dinner) restaurants serve great food. Sea facing rooms are good. Try not to get a room next to the elevator above the reception as it gets too noisy with the bar just downstairs. Tanya and Ivan at the concierge are very helpful. Special mention for Cordova and Fabian at the Veneto restaurant. All in all very helpful and friendly staff.

Very PleasedPosted Apr 19, 2015
Cons: The only recommendation would be to have more of a variety of foods to choose from and especially need seafood choices.
The staff was incredible, the hotel was beautiful right on the beach with excellent ocean views.

Wont returnPosted Apr 17, 2015
The man at the check in desk tried to take me for an extra $100.00 for an upgrade to my room. It wasn't an upgrade and he pocketed the money. I was compensated a day later...but as you can imagine this didn't leave me with a good feeling. The food was ok at best. The attentiveness of the cleaning staff was very good. The guest all had their pool chairs reserved every day with their towels..even if they weren't there most of the day so finding a place to lounge was challenging. This was spring break for my 12 yr. old son and myself....huge disappointment.

Pésimas instalaciones. decepción total.Posted Apr 14, 2015

Great Hotel but!Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Great service
Cons: Terrible internet service
Location: Great Location
Overall hotel was great, we stayed at GR caribe but have access to GR Solaris Overall hotel is great and especially the " great Mexican personal" that work hard to make you comfortable and happy (thank you). Restaurant and food are great (a la cart) But: 2 things should improve Internet: Terrible service (on and off the entire day) and they charge you 16 USD a day Business Center: They charge you extra to print Boarding passes (Really!! for a 4 start hotel??)
