Everyone goes back there!Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: The guests were all laid-back and sociable. Kind of a party group (which we liked), but not extreme "spring break" type.
Cons: I thought the rooms were relatively basic, but clean -- How much time do you spend in your room anyway?
Location: One perk is that you can take a shuttle to their sister hotel down the road and eat, drink, etc.
This was a very nice smaller hotel with slightly dated amenities, but awesome staff and guests. It was very nice not having kids running around. The food was very good with 6 places to choose from. I spoke to many guests (maybe 25% or more) who come back to this same place year after year. One couple said this was their 14th time! I think that says a lot about the quality of the place. Guests were all very nice and ranged from early twenty's to older -- seemed like a good mix. I liked the pool and hot tub, and there was enough seating and room so that it never seemed real crowded. Very nice place.

Golden ParnassusPosted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: The whole hotel.
Location: It is close to the Kukulcan Mall and La Isla.
We stayed here on the 2/20 which I booked on your website. I do not know where you got the pictures that I saw of the hotel but what I saw was totally different. The hotel is old ( at least 20-25 yrs.) and maybe one of the original hotels in Cancun. It badly needs renovating. The food was mediocre and the choices were limited and not labeled. We did not know which was what. We were so disappointed that we transferred to the Great Parnassus the next morning.

Excellent service. Great staffPosted Mar 1, 2015
It was our first time in Mexico. I loved this resort. The staff is super friendly and sweet. The food wasn't all that good but still decent. I'd definitely go back.

Older all inclusive resort that needs some TLCPosted Feb 25, 2015
We booked an Oceanview room. When we arrived the room was not ready. Instead of telling us the truth that they had double booked the room they made up a lie and said the air conditioning was out. We ended up with the right room the next day Rm 630. The bed was a wide short king that was lumpy and not very comfortable especially if you're a taller person The view of the ocean was nice from the room. The staff was polite and for the most part good to deal with. The facility is older and could use some updating. The buffet style breakfast is fine for what it is. We noticed some bug activity in the buffet area around the center island were the fruit, yogurt and plates are. Kind of a turn off. The dinners at pier 12 and the old barn were good. Take the shuttle to the great Parnassus and eat there too. A couple of good options. Like all resorts the best sun areas at the beach and pool go fast. You need to get up early and claim a spot. Say like 6:00 ish. You need to stay at the spot until until at least 8am or hotel security takes your stuff. Getting drinks can be slow at times because usually there is only one bartender at a station. The pool waitresses Gaby and Carmen are polite and attentive. The bartenders Fonzy, Fredy, Miguel and Perfectto make a good drink. The up side to the place is the staff. The downside is the lack of updating and adequate staffing in key places. The workers are working long hours and work hard. Don't forget to tip them.

Great Staff!Posted Feb 24, 2015
First of all this was my second stay at Golden Parnassus and had a great time. The staff at this hotel is what makes a 3 star facility a 4 star experience. The food was great and plentiful and if you weren't satisfied then you haven't stayed at other resorts. The facilities need modernizing and the WiFi problems need to be seriously corrected as soon as possible. You have to pay for WiFi at this resort and it will only work in lobby. Hotel is small and allows you to get to know the other guests. The entire staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time!!

Golden ParnassusPosted Feb 22, 2015
Was definitely an older crowd staying at the resort. It was the perfect spot for a nice and relaxing vacation. The view was great, resort was nice, resturuants had good food quality and service, drinks were awesome, overall a really great experience! Only down side from our POV, was that most excursions were far from resort (20min-1.5hours), but They were still worth the trek.

It was okay but not a place we would visit againPosted Feb 22, 2015
Hotel was probably great when built but it needs serious work. Its a small hotel with an open structure. Nice beach and pool with limited chair availability. Room is clean but has outdated furniture. Food in the restaurants was mediocre. We had a relaxing time but we wont be visiting the Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa again.

Perfect for adultsPosted Feb 19, 2015
Personal beach. Amazing wait and bar tending staff. Make you feel as if the remember you and have known you. Didn't feel the need to leave the resort but just a 15 minute walk from stores.

Not bad........Posted Feb 17, 2015
Bad: Had a ocean Clive room reservation but got a 2 double room. I was told sorry even though I had a confirmation. Food was kind of bland. Drinks all tasted the same. Draft beer only. Good: Wait staff was awesome. The bartenders keep this place going. They very friendly. The people we meet were very friendly. Not sure I would return because they may put me in the broom closet next time. Sorry this your your senior!!
