Nice hotel on beautiful beach.Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: staff. food was good. beach and pool.
Location: town is fun and a cheap bus ride away. ruins are nearby and tours are good.
Hotel was nice and well maintained, food service, bar, and cleaning staff friendly and accomodating. Front desk helpful and Expedia desk will book any activity you desire. WiFi was awful but I'm told that will be changing in 2015. Fun pool activities all day if wanted or just hang out under the palapas on the beach. Loved the 'adults only' aspect.

Camp for adultsPosted Jul 29, 2014
Even an introvert would find leave with a multitude of new friends. Perfect location on the strip and the best service from every single employee. If you want to really enjoy a vacation, this is the place to go.

Plan on going back just not to this resortPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The bar staff and waitresses and waiters, very polite and courteous, and I don't drink a lot, the outdoor activities were fun to watch
Cons: Hotel front staff stay on top of things and make requests happen faster, softer beds, additional public relations member
Location: Great shopping, jet skis, parasailing, fine restaraunts, tours,
Promised top floor room upon arrival but never got it, room was located under the stairwell on 1st floor, very loud people stomping up and down the concrete steps at all times of the night, music at bar was loud when sleeping, jacuzzi in room didn't work, brought to attention of mgmt. and repair couldn't be made till next day, Jacuzzi tub was full of what looked like small shaved hairs or dirt after it was drained (pictures are avail), promised a spa massage since it was our delayed honeymoon but never received it, had to ask for extra blankets (4) times before recv'd them, next day staff removed blankets from room and we had to go through the entire request and wait again, beds weren't soft, Pier 12 and Old Barn food were delicious, snack bar was good, bought 1 day wifi package for $15, got to use it for 30 mins and then it quit working, brought to staffs attention and stated I would have to wait till tomorrow, internet comp stated that I had used too much in my 30 mins, all we did was check in on US Airways and select our seats, finally agreed to refund but still have not recv’d it, only 1 Public Relations staff member, Mura was awesome to work with, bought tour through Expedia rep, he stated we would return around 6:30, finally got back to the room at 8pm, tour was great except for the bus service everything went wrong but nothing was ever their fault, will take tour again though with the kids, well worth it.

Nice resort that did the job. July 2014Posted Jul 25, 2014
Resort was nice and small. Loved that it was adult only resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. Minor hiccups but did not ruin our stay. Staff fixed any issues we had. Foods were very good at Shang ri la fine dining and the breeze snack shop. Sumo Japanese restaurant was disappointing and red barn was just ok. Pool water was too warm needs to be filtered out. I wore a white bikini and end of day from in and out the pool my bikini was yellow. So that was kind of gross. The entertainment staff at the pool were very friendly and fun. Beach was nice and so close. It was just a walk from the pool. They had jet ski rentals parasailing available and more stuff you can enjoy. This resort had everything you need for vacation. It's not fancy but it worked and we were satisfied.

LOVE CANCUN!Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: ALL STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, AND HELPFUL.
Cons: BOOKED FOR A KING BED AND GOT 2 FULL BEDS X 4 NIGHTS, THEN FINALLY ABLE TO CHANGE TO A KING. MY HUSBAND IS 6'1, THE FULL SIZE WAS SHORT.
Location: MANY THINGS TO DO. THINGS ARE BECOMING MORE COMMERCIALIZED AND PRICES REFLECT IT. ALL INCLUSIVE SHOULD INCLUDE FREE OR BETTER PRICING FOR EXCURSIONS
VERY RELAXING, PLEASANT ENVIRONVENTMENT, PLENTY OF FOOD CHOICES

Don't do it.Posted Jul 15, 2014
Cons: Everything, from the condition of the lobby to the customer service.
Location: Did not stay long enough to find out.
In a nutshell: while waiting 4 plus hours for our room to be ready, watched a soccer game in their bar that was dirty and dingy (Sixties), had the toilet overflow in the lobby bathroom, had a couple tacos made for lunch which were put together by a gentleman's bare (yes, no gloves) hands, and then only to be given a dirty and musty room which we did not reserve and told that they had nothing else available unless we wanted to pay for an upgrade. After getting Expedia involved, they offered to move us to their sister hotel (Great Parnussus) which we gladly accepted, only to be told that despite them having a shuttle, we would need to pay for a taxi since luggage was not allowed on the shuttle. Needless to say, I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this hotel. The Great Parnussus, however, was comfortable despite a broken air conditioning system. Also, if you have kids, was very family oriented and lots of activities.

The DecisionPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Location, security, appearance, cleanliness, and most of the staff.
Cons: Food- The buffet was OK for breakfast, mediocre for lunch. Only two of the restaurants out of the 4 onsite were OK. Institutional food service.
Location: GREAT location, walking or bus distance from all the major venues. .
