“Just Right”

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The entertainment staff was very good without constantly nagging you to participate. The food was better then average and the drinks were as strong as you wanted them to be(bring insulated mugs as the cups were very small). The hotel and pool area can get loud at night but we did not have problems sleeping. If you expect this resort to be a five star resort you will be disappointed but if you want to relax and have a great time with a friendly staff this is the place. The beach was perfect. I have been to Cancun six times at six different resorts and if I were to go back it would be to the Golden Parnassus.

We arrived to paradise, sat down and got a drink while we waited to check-in. We then went to our rooms and unloaded our stuff. They upgraded us to an ocean view which was awesome. Everything around the hotel was neat. The rooms didn't have very bright lights but that's okay... You aren't supposed to stay in your room. The service of the bartenders and waiters were amazing. Fonzi was the best. Bring him a baseball hat. People that frequent this hotel are the kind of people you hope to meet when you go on vacation. Everyone including the guests are neat people. We were not that impressed with the food and we fell ill with the revenge. We even tried to eat at the Great hotel. I really wanted crepes but that place was not open very often. We heard good things about the food from other people but weren't impressed. Breakfast was pretty good though at the buffet! If only I could eat that all day every day. If you go shopping, go all the way into town away from the hotel zone. It is cheaper and neat. Also, you can ask the hotel for Rudy's Tour's phone number or email to schedule a pickup by van to and from the airport and he can take you anywhere. It wasn't that much over the bus and it was private and direct. I highly recommend that. Activity team: Margarita, etc were awesome! They were very important in aiding to your fun time. Lay out by the pool but go to the beach. Also the spa gives you coupons. Kinda cool!

“We Love the Golden Parnassus!!!!”

Love it! I can't say enough great things about the Golden Parnassus. The staff is AWESOME. Carlos and Jose at the Tiki Bar are Super and make every night a blast. No KIDS!!!! The food is awesome and the drinks have as much alcohol as you want- too much for my plane ride home- oops! We have been to this resort twice and will return again. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. Even though we had only been there twiced they remembered who we were. The pool and beach are great. I woulod recommend to anyone that wants to have a good time. Hopefully we will see you there!!

“great place to stay”

If you're looking for a "value" vacation, this is the place. This was our first stay at this hotel. Third time in Cancun. Everything was as expected. Hotel is clean and comfortable. (Not a 5 star but then they don't pretend to be.) Staff is excellent, very friendly. Food was good. Even though the occupancy was only around 15% due to the flu scare. (saw no signs of it)I have to believe the service, cleanliness and overall experience would have been the same under normal circumstances. Definitely would go back again.

“Everything was amazing!”

Highly recommend. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Parnassus. Its a smaller hotel but to us thats what sets it apart from the rest. The staff gets to know you right away and you can tell they genuinely want you to enjoy yourself. We stayed on the 6th floor Club room facing the ocean. You can not ask for a better room. The view from the balcony was great. It even came with a mini fridge stocked daily at no extra charge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. During the day there is activities outside. Margarita, Sarah, and Daniel were great at keeping everyone entertained. The tiki bar stays open very late and if you are lucky Jose will be the bartender. The food was good but not great. One of the two elevators was broken during our stay, did not ruin our trip though.

This hotel is very nice, we had an amazing stay. The staff is more than nice and very outgoing, everyone was wonderful and very helpful.

“Can't wait to go back”

This was our first visit to this resort and we couldn't have been happier with our selection. The staff was always friendly, remembered you by name, and even remembered your drink of choice. None of them ever seemed to be in a bad mood. They were always happy to do what you requested to make your stay better. There are great food options and the buffet gives you a bit of everything. Our room was cleaned daily and promptly. The best part was the absence of children. There are shuttles that will take you to the sister resort, but we didn't feel the need to go there and liked the adult only company. The entertainment staff was around most of the day and night and planned fun activities. The best was the Tiki bar and make sure to stop by and see Juan and Carlos there, you will not be sorry. Overall, this was a great vacation and we plan to go again next year.
