Shout out to the all the people that work in the actual resort. If you need anything ask the bellhops, bartenders, and service workers. Forget the front desk people. Huge compliments to Jose and Edith and many of the other countless people that worked there that were kind and helpful.

The hotel is dated but kept very clean. I would suggest that the restaurants be air conditioned and also not have the air conditioned set in the hotel rooms by the hotel. Some people like it either cooler or warmer.
We had no towels in room when initially entering room. Air conditioner was not working. We Had to literally ask EVERYDAY for an adequate amount of towels and cloth’s for 2 persons! Elevator was out 2 of our 6 days and we were on the 6th floor. Limited restaurants open. Many staff members were rude and dismissive. The building in general is extremely outdated and needs many upgrades. Very limited entertainment. Would never return and honestly feel we should receive at the minimum a partial refund. It was without exaggeration the worst all inclusive experience we’ve ever had.

The property is old and run down. The shower water smells and came out brown. The AC didn’t work well so it was so hot in the room. There were only 2 out let’s in the entire room. The food at the buffet wasn’t very good. The pool closes early.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly, helpful, and fun. Great pool! Beautiful beach. Plenty of chairs for everyone and not overly crowded. However, the property is in desperate need of updates/repairs. 5 out of 7 days we stayed the house keeper would take all of our bath linens and NOT replace them. I’d have to go downstairs everyday and ask for towels which was an ordeal itself taking 20-30 min for anyone to bring anything. Every. Day. That was more annoying than anything. We probably will not stay here again despite the wonderful staff that made up for the property.

We have visited this resort for the past ten years. This year was totally disappointing. When we arrived 3 out of 4 couples did not receive the room we booked. There were no towels in any of the rooms, the phones, safes and refrigerators did not work either.

Staff was amazing, but this hotel is full of it! Charged me $36 for idk what then at the end of my stay charged me $25 for property taxes smh. Food was horrible, room was very outdated, no microwave or fridge, phone didn’t work the entire stay.

The only thing I enjoyed about this resort is the ocean however had to use my towel to sit on as there were very few beach chairs. Very small and dirty. Food was absolutely horrible. Very limited choices.

The property is getting old but I feel like the maintenance crew is doing the best they can with what they have. I feel it’s time the owner really renovate instead of putting band-aided’s on everything.

Staff can't be beat! Food and drinks are fantastic, plenty of beach space. Rooms are a bit dated, but not an issue.

The property had water leaking all over the building as well as in the rooms. We had to be moved to a new room. The new room had no working phone, huge crack in the sliding door and water coming out of an outlet. The live entertainment it said they have daily didn’t exist!!!! This place should be condemned. Staff are wonderful, but the facility isn’t up to par. We travelled with a group of 12 and there needed to be many room changes. No A/C in many of the rooms including the fitness center. Pool doesn’t even half enough water in it to reach the filter. There were packets of mustard and ketchup outside our door all week. Garbage in the stairwells and none of it is ever picked up by staff. Huge hole with black mold in the kitchen/ buffet area that is visible to everyone. I would not come back if offered a free trip!

This was our 6th trip to Golden Parnassus and we were extremely disappointed. There hasn’t been any upkeep on the buildings over the past couple years. There were leaks all over the resort so there were buckets all over catching the water. We had to change rooms due to water leaking from a light fixture. There is absolutely no night entertainment or shows. We were left without towels and other basics several days out the 6 days we were there. The power went out for several hours while we were there while other resorts around still had it. We made the most of our time there but we won’t be returning.

The staff were great! Everyone was so friendly and fun. We were disappointed that we didn’t receive our upgrades. Our first night we didn’t even get the oceanfront room that we paid for and had to go back multiple times. Eventually we got it the second night. The facility is clean, just dated and run down.

I liked that it was a smaller resort, the pool was wonderful, the food was amazing!
What we didn't like was the lack of evening entertainment. There was a dance show one night we were there, but nothing else except the superbowl party. so the evenings were a little boring. They do offer a bus excursion to nightclubs downtown.

The inside of the hotel had leaky ceilings everywhere. There were buckets, towels and sheets catching the water. Outside was beautiful and well kept. The beach was amazing! The food choices were good and the inside of the room was good. There was no coffee pot or mini fridge in the room.

The staff is great! Club rooms are nice because they are on the top floor have refrigerators & soaking jacuzzi tubs. You can still hear the afternoon pool noise, if you're a napper. I've stayed here before, was disappointed that the gourmet restaurant was closed for renovations. The resort is definitely in need of a makeover.
