Acceptable Stay

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: Physical Facilities: swimming pools, restaurants and rooms are commensurate with price , facilities are good. However there is no Wi-Fi at all.
Cons: For any unknown reason in the several restaurants waiters are not authorized to accommodate people in adjacent tables. We were a 18 persons in party
Location: The location is appropriated for the price beaches are small and not so good and pretty close to any of the various Cancun docks
Slightly inferior to what is expected as per price. It has good things but some others are not good enough. Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly a few are not so nice. It is a hotel with not so much to praise. They could provide a form with options ( dining rooms and menus) to be filled previously by people wishing to attend the New Year's eve supper instead of call people to make tiresome and prolonged files early in the 31st morning

Bad receptions, expensive and slow WIFI.

Posted Dec 28, 2014
Arriving the hotel at about noon we were directed to the VIP reception desk. We were told to check in but room not available until 3 pm. Coming back to lobby at 2:30 pm, saw regular reception desk checking in and giving room keys immediately. Asked if we could get our room keys. The receptionist said no because we were checked in by VIP desk. Going back to the VIP across lobby, we were still told room not ready until 3 pm. Finally, we were given room keys. Dragging our luggages, waiting in lines to ride the small elevators, came in the room and found the room are already occupied. It took about an hour for the VIP desk to straighten things out. After waiting for almost 4 hours in hot and humid, we were given a room with only partial ocean view, not what we paid for. In the mean time, most resteraunts closed in lunch time, no place to eat even we bought the hotel all inclusive package. Grand Ossis Palm hotel shares most facilities with Ossis Palm. The extra prices paid do not worth it.

Very pleasing experience. The hotel staff are very helping and polite. The hotel is very neat and clean. On the beach. It is very family and kid friendly. We have a 3 year old and we required Milk etc warmed up late in the evening. The restraint staff were very helpful even though it was officially closed.

Hotel com muitas atividades

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Atendimentos dos funcionários e o tamanho do hotel

a reasonable place to stay

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: The pool and the beach.
Cons: This hotel like all others usually have the volume too high for performances. I know this , so I always bring my earplugs.
Location: Great location. Bus service is outstanding. Must visit Playa Delfines....
This is my 11th time in Cancun. As usual the entire staff is outstanding. Most furnishings need updating. The food could have been better if it had been warmer. This facility needs to invest in better/newer furnishings and a better food warming system. The heat lights only dry the food and keep slightly warm. Too bad because the variety is very good and the cooks do a good job. The pools are five star. Overall, a good experience which could have been outstanding.

Disappointed

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Was only there for a short time. The staff room was fine . The staff were very friendly as all hotels that I have ever stayed in the Cancun area have been. The entertainment was decent however the food was the worst I have ever experienced in Mexico. Nothing more to be said.

I picked the wrong resort to stay in.

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: We just had fun in the club on our last day. The fire show was nice. My mother enjoyed the music out side.
Cons: you need to improve in your food. It was horrible. I traveled to Mexico three times. This was the worst hotel I have been in and was fed nasty fold
Location: My family took a taxi to the flea market. We had fun. You have to negotiate prices with the locals. They are a little pricey.
When I arrived at this hotel I found out that it was not equipped for handicap people. When they took us to our room. The room smelled like a old sour mop. The bathroom water was dark yellow. Evenly, they moved my family on another floor. The room were cold and the room thermostat is not set up for heat just air conditioning only. The brown blackets were in a clear plastic bags were not cleaned. They had an awful smell to them. My family did not want it on their bodies. BE VERY CAREFUL SELECTING THIS HOTEL. THE FOOD IS AWFUL. YOU WILL REGRET IT. I took 8 of my family members because of my sick mother. I was embarrass and very disappointed,

Good but bad.

I am from America and only speak English. During my stay at the hotel I found it very difficult to talk to some of the staff because they only spoke Spanish. It made it difficult to ask for certain things or to be understood. I Figured that because this was a resort in the tourist area that more of the staff would speak English. If I spoke fluent Spanish then I would have loved this hotel. It was clean and the beach was nice. The website states that there are non motorized water sports like paddle boarding that are included in the all inclusive stay. We were told that the only thing they had were jet skis. Other than that I liked the hotel.

Nice hotel.. Beach ok ,

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Room...view.. some shows .. drinks.
Cons: more food varieties. Was lot of mexican food only no other choices. WIFI and locker expensive.
I liked the resort. Beach is ok not like the nice Cancun blue beaches, It is much like a bay no waves what so ever. Staff was nice and drinks and food was fine. Rooms were clean and nice , Locker in room had to pay $7/Day and wifi is also not free.Other that that resort seems to be fine for the money we pay.
